They're sincerely caring and obviously love animals. They're also very knowledgeable from a medical standpoint, but also know how to sit with an animal and observe, so they can tie loose threads together that other vets may miss. Their compassion carried us through some very tough times. Wouldn't trust our cat to anyone else.

Since our first visit I had two emergencies with my boy George and they got me in right away. The front desk staff is so friendly, kind, and compassionate; the vet techs are absolutely phenomenal, and Dr. Sanders is truly the best, very honest and caring. Did I mention the facility feels like I'm taking my dog to the spa? They've got a bit of a wait for new patients and they do ask for the first visits payment upfront but let me tell you Sander's Animal Hospital is worth it!

He made sure my dogs had no fear and gave excellent care since I didn't need to see the veterinarian and it was a routine vaccination. I will update once I go back and do see the veterinarian. One thing to know, however, the price of a spay is quite expensive here. I will be going to Tri-County Animal Clinic in Sevierville for my dog's spay which will be about $100 less. It's a very clean office as well with an exceptional veterinarian. It's just a very long drive for me. Both are great vets depending on where you're located.

It was Friday evening and we weren't sure where we could find a clinic for him. I saw that Appalachian opened at 8:00 the next morning, so bright & early my husband Greg bundled Jack into the car in the pouring rain and to the clinic, planning to call on the way hoping for an appointment. The wonderful staff at Appalachian saw Jack right away and took amazing care of him! They checked his overall health, not just the hot spot and advised Greg on how to treat another unrelated issue. Our daughter is a vet tech, so we truly appreciate and understand quality, professional service. I cannot recommend Appalachian enough!

Outbursts have died down, he knows a lot of commands and just listens better in general. I 100% recommend Nick, he's AMAZING.

She is very realistic and cost conscious. She is firm about her personal limits but always has great suggestions for where to go if she doesn't provide the service. When we had to euthanize 2 of our dogs, she and her staff were awesome. With Abby, we were in to pick up medicine monthly. I was struggling with when the right time to say enough. She sat and talked with me and cried with me. Over 2 years with our dog with painful arthritis, crippling anxiety, and dementia, she stepped up treatment and always focused on her comfort. I have so many stories about the great care including dental and then referral to UT for specialist dentist. We feel like they love our dogs and care for our family.
