Absolutely horrendous experience. A foreign client of ours placed an order with this company. The…read moreclient sent payment, Seabreeze gave them a shipping date, the client requested tracking and photos, and Seabreeze then stopped answering their emails. This is when we were brought in. I was worried my client had been scammed. I googled Seabreeze and found no positive reviews, but one negative one from another overseas client who had sent money and never received anything. (The lack of any other reviews was especially odd because, according to the owner's LinkedIn page, Seabreeze has been in business since at least 1994.) Also, the business phone number listed on their website/email signature does not work. I emailed Seabreeze for an update, and they assured me there was an unexpected production delay and that the products would be shipped on Friday. Friday came. I received an email from Seabreeze that day asking for delivery information, which my client had already sent. I told Seabreeze as such, and they acknowledged it. Next week Monday, I came to work expecting everything to be settled; however, my client still had not received any shipping information. I emailed Seabreeze that day, and about four more times that week, asking them to send the documents we had requested multiple times. He did not respond, except for one incomprehensible sentence, and he did not respond to my request for clarification of that. Finally, on the Friday after he said he sent the shipment, I emailed Seabreeze asking them to send the documents or we would treat this situation as fraud. Well, that got a response, and one of the rudest emails I've ever received. First, they accused me of taking a long time to place the order, even though I am not the one who ordered - I was only brought in on behalf of a client that Seabreeze had stopped responding to. Next, a direct quote that I'm sure they're proud of: "If you were as efficient in your order placement as you have proven to be in your in your whining and false claims of fraud you may be a better business entity." Sick burn, dude. By "whining," I assume he means how I had to send the same email multiple times in a week because he stopped responding to both me and my client. He could have stopped my "whining" at any time by simply updating me or my client on the order status or explained why he had not yet sent the tracking information. He only bothered responding when I mentioned fraud - and who in my position would not suspect fraud when (a) money had already been sent overseas, (b) the only review for Seabreeze was from a customer who had been scammed, (c) the business number is not in service, and (d) the company stopped responding to their customer's emails? Icing on the cake, he asked me not to contact them again. He didn't specify though - should I avoid their unresponsive email address, or their non-existent phone line? I will try to restrain myself from the pleasant experience. Sidenote, they did eventually ship the products and send the tracking number.
