Ronnie came the next day to go on the roof and check out the damage. He gave me a quote right away with the scope of work entailed and the total cost. I've called multiple roofing companies and J&J had the most reasonable quote. We were able to schedule them in for the following week, and they finished the entire job in 2 days. This entailed removing the damaged wood from my old roof, putting on plywood and an entire new roof. I've attached photos for your reference. If you're thinking of hiring a roofer, you won't regret hiring J&J. Ronnie and his team were punctual, responsive, professional. The work was done with great quality. They even gave me warranty certificates for my new roof. I am a happy client.

Six months in with the new deck and several boards have separated from the adjoining boards with…read moregaps. Noticable gaps from a distance. Again my thought is that the boards were too wet from the beginning and shrunk with the heat. Worse, the staining is now an issue as the Spring pollen has become absorbed in the wood. Now when it is dry, all I see is yellow pollen stains and now looks awful. I will end up having to re-stain the deck myself once the temperatures drop.

Based upon a recommendation from a neighbor who had NCA Carolinas construct their home's addition,…read morewe contacted NCA Carolinas for a sunroom addition. A representative came out with an architect to discuss our project. They left after a short while, with the promise that the next step was to be the architect contacting us with some sketches. Never heard back from either the architect or NCA Carolinas. Our next door neighbor also had NCA Carolinas come out for their project, and the same thing - they never heard back from them again. All we can assume is that our home additions were not large enough project for NCA Carolinas to be bothered with. The fact that we never heard back from them speaks volumes about their service. As such, I can not recommend NCA Carolinas for any project.

I have reached out both via email and on phone to Rob to have his schedule a time that the work can be corrected, and no returns calls or emails. Very unprofessional. To make it worse, I was going to have his company do a walk way through my backyard....unfortunatly, he will no longer get any more of my business. I am not one to share negative information about a company, however, I have given him several chances to make it right and he has chosen not to stand by his craftmanship and I certainly do not want someone else to get burned, like I did. What ever happened to people taking pride in their work and when they mess up, then they make it right?

Unsatisfied customer…read more We understand that no two stone pieces are identical but a blatant different like this is too hard to ignore. When our concerns regarding the top right piece were brought to their attention, we were made to believe this was common. We were told, "...earth minerals from the mountain where it came from." Aside from the minerals, there were other "unnatural" scratches and gouges as well as a dip in the center. The craftsmanship with this particular piece of stone is poor as well. Perhaps because it was getting close to the end of the day. There is a large gap between the stone and the wall as well as larger-than-usual gaps around the fireplace hearth. Yes, you did attempt to remove the minerals. An hour of rigorous scraping with a wire brush but it produced less-than-acceptable results. We were you told that you would return to apply acid which would remove the minerals...hopefully. We've attempted to contact you multiple times with no response. We were hoping you would make it right but now we have to find someone else to fix your work. Knowing that you have an unsatisfied customer and choosing to ignore them speaks volume to your lack of professionalism and willingness to stand behind your work. But you got your cash payment, so I suppose a small job like this does not matter too much to your bottom line.
