They have been quick to respond when contacted. There are ample clubs, programs and special electives to choose from. The administration seems to make every effort to keep parents informed and they work hard to try and ensure the safety of their students. There also appears to be an extensive amount of community support which is a huge benefit for the kids attending this school system. It's not perfect but it's good and we are proud to be Bulldogs.

Yelp is a strange forum to write a review on a prep school but having just come off of my 25th…read moreclass reunion there I felt compelled. WRA is truly a life-changing experience. The faculty are totally committed to the success of every student and the quality of education and the facilities create an atmosphere of incredibly challenging, yet infinitely rewarding experiences that serve one well throughout a lifetime. Friendships forged there are as strong today as they were 25 years ago and lessons learned sometimes only truly reveal themselves many years after one has left. There simply aren't enough positive adjectives to adequately describe this place.

Hudson City School District (HCSD) is comprised of the city of Hudson and small parts of Boston Heights Township and Cuyahoga Falls. Approximately 4,800 students attend the six Hudson schools. The elementary schools range from grades k-5 are are compartmentalized into 4 different buildings at 4 separate locations in the city. The Hudson Middle School grades range from 6-8 and are all under one roof. Approximately 1,200 students attend the middle school. At the middle school, starting from grade 6 through 8, students are divided up into what they call "communities." If you would like more information about "communities," check out the districts website. www.hudson.k12.oh.us Hudson High School ranges from grades 9-12 and is also all under one roof. There are approximately 1,600 students that attend this school. Hudson High school is ranked 64th best school in the country and 2nd best in the state of Ohio by Newsweek in 2014. There are 22 AP classes available and College Credit Plus (Previously called Post Secondary) opportunities are offered at the high school. The HCSD also has a 93% higher education attendance with 91% going to a four year university, 3% going to a 2 year college, and the other 6% going into employment or the military. The Hudson City School District offers wonderful learning environments with minimal bulling problems among students. Though in recent years, drug problems have risen within the middle and high schools, mostly commonly with the usage of marijuana. HCSD is comprised of 84% caucasian students, 7% Asian American, 3% Latino/Hispanic, 2% black, and 4% other races. As a former student, I strongly recommend enrolling your students in this public school system. HCSD offers highly competitive classes that will challenge students and prepare them for college readiness.

My oldest dtr did wonders here and got scholarships to university so there was not really a lot to pay out of pocket. My middle dtr did not thrive here because she didn't want like school as much and didn't want to go to university. She went on to trade school. She is going well also. In the end, to each their own. They are liberal arts catholic school. Lots of extra circular but the sports teams are not state ranked and if that is a concern go elsewhere. It wasn't for us. I would enroll my dtr here again for sure.

This is a school for smart kids who take their education seriously. They want to go to elite schools when they graduate and are willing to forego a lot of the high school fun to get a real education. This is the kind of place where there are no hall passes and attendance is a given. There aren't any bells ringing and the class sizes are small. Everyone does their homework because it matters. The school is surprisingly liberal for a Catholic school. They focus a lot on things like social justice and community service. Kids wore their Obama buttons to class and worked for progressive candidates. It is not a bad place. Don't listen to some Atlanta wobbly-puss who flunked out in the 7th grade and has carried a chip on her shoulder all the way to some grad school. She made out with some teacher's daughter? Are you kidding me? The Elms isn't the typical Catholic school just because somebody gave her a bad grade 15 years ago.
