Absolutely the worst place to live. They over charge for EVERYTHING. Water bill is a scam. Somehow we pay more than everyone else pays quarterly in 1 month. The rent is astronomical. Route 80 is so loud and dirty we can't open our windows. Our neighbors are loud and inconsiderate. I have lodged 30 noise complaints but nothing gets done. I feel like I am paying to be tortured in my own home. Go elsewhere.​ read more

Not luxury living at all!!!! I have had a bird infestation on my porch since may and haven't been able to use it once all summer it's covered in bird feces. I have asked a numerous amount of times to get it cleaned and they refuse. All my brand new, literally a few weeks old patio decor and set is ruined and have to be thrown away according to the department of health. I decided since they wouldn't do anything for to withhold the rent and they still didn't do anything and after only 1 month I have eviction papers!! Furthermore all the appliances are shit, dishwasher doesn't work, fridge and freezer causes frost burn after a few days of putting new food inside. I had black mold behind the water heater for weeks and they kept sending maintenance who insisted there was nothing there. Well look at the picture attached. Had to breathe that in for weeks!! And lastly , this just happened a few days ago, I was sleeping and woke up to someone who started walking in from my patio and into my living room. He was a worker and said they had a mishap outside and wanted to make sure everything was ok. I was half nude. And not sure how he got in.. jumped over the fence onto my porch filled with bird feces and just thought he could walk on in.. when I know I had it locked!!! WTF!!! That is soo wrong and inappropriate!! So after dealing with all this they want to evict me?!?! This is why this "luxury apartment complex" always has openings !!!! Stay far away!! Also the hot tub wasn't working alll summer basically which is the only time it is open throughout the year. All they had to do was clean my porch and reimburse me for the items the health department says I need the throw away (porous items) and I would have paid rent no problem! Now they want my rent plus and extra 5,000 for me to stay here !!! Please do yourself a favor and avoid this headache !! read more

We have lived here for 4 years and have never had a problem. Staff is friendly and helpful. Gym is nice. Pool is beautiful. The grounds are kept clean and they always deal with the snow. Amazing little pocket of apartments on the top of a huge hill. read more

After finding that Woodmount west had more good reviews then bad we decided on moving in and I wish I would have payed closer attention to the negative reviews. After living here for a year I can tell you they are all spot on. Don't make the same mistake as us. Mark is very nice and "informative" when you come tour the property but him and his team do not care to keep the residents happy once you sign that lease. They will yes you to death about your issues and then do absolutely nothing about it. We would have signed our lease again if it wasn't for the management and maintenance team. We went months hoping they would fix an issue that was never fixed. To top things off they took $300 from our security deposit for "replacing a stovetop" that was in perfect condition. Save yourself the frustration of living at Woodmont west and find somewhere that has a better management and maintenance team. They are just money hungry folks who can care less about their residence happy. read more

Horrific management... Stay far far away. The management has destroyed what was a newer community with there incompetence. Trash in the hallways. A manager who threatens to tow residents vehicles and then suspends parking polices so residents have nowhere to park. The property management no longer shows up to work. Inflating monthly fees all while removing residents ability to use the trash rooms to dispose of trash and recycling. read more

Parcel pending package delivery system is a complete nightmare. Not sure why but it is. Had 3 items shipped this week and was never notified from the parcel pending system. Had to contact leasing office and dig through the bulk packaging room which is a disaster. Still missing one package but nobody at Woodmont seems too concerned about it . read more

I want to take a moment to provide an honest review. I recently moved in about a month ago and I am enjoying my stay so far. The interior and exterior of the building is very modern! The apartments are beautiful and modernized as well. I especially love the high ceilings and stainless steel appliances. Only Con is the walls paints because it is a flat matte and gets dirty very easily. I am in building 8 and it is VERY QUIET! Which I appreciate especially working from home. Plus I live on the first floor and I barely hear my neighbors next to or above me, which is even a bigger plus. There is a smell in the hallway at times due to the trash chutes but not always. The trash room it's is pretty clean at all times, but let's be real it's garbage so it will have a scent! Parking is normal - I don't have any issues finding parking close to my building regardless of what time I get in. The grounds are well kept and I have not encountered any dog droppings around. Folks do a pretty good job cleaning up after their pets. I've had two maintenance requests and both were answered promptly and the maintenance technician was very polite and funny lol (sorry can't remember his name right now). Management does nothing to fix the parking situation here. I recommend this place to no one. Lots of other luxury places to live with much better parking policies. Believe me people don't move here, and if you work nights definitely don't. You'll be parking on the opposite side of the complex if you do. It's sad and pathetic that management doesn't do anything about it. They don't respond to negativity either. Will never resign my lease here when it's up. read more

I wasn't planning on writing a review but saw some of the negative reviews so wanted to give an honest review. I have lived at Woodmont for 3 years. I'm in building 3 which has no garbage chutes in the building. We put our garbage in a dumpster outside so there is no smell of garbage. I've worked out at the gym several times. It doesn't smell. It is a nice gym and is usually pretty empty when I go. As for the parking. Yes it is sometimes hard to find a spot if you arrive home late. More spots are needed. Also my internet goes out a lot and I have to reset it. Not sure if it's just my building or the entire area. I can't comment about the pool because I haven't used it. People are pretty good about picking up after their dogs. Overall it's a nice place to live and the grounds are well maintained. read more

Garbage up and down the halls. They charge extra $15.00 a month for the privilege of leaving your garbage outside your door. They had a garbage Shute in the past. Now they have this bad service and no service on Fridays and Saturdays the busiest nights. But that's ok you can go to the unlocked compactors were kids could easily go in and be crushed a law suit waiting to happen. I pay extra 300 for 2 garages and put my vehicles inside so that the area could be plowed and fell there at 4 pm 6 hours after snow ended. called they said it would be fixed, that was after I stopped the plow guy. came home at 6 PM still not done called again and begged them to have it done as I had to leave at 4 am. At 4 am still not done! had to call scream stop plow guy at around 6 they did it. The plow guy had the nerve to say there were cars there yesterday a total lie i have time stamped pictures. Others were done I believe they ignored me because I complained. Move here at your own risk. read more

This is my favorite place to stay. My kids absolutely love everything about it....from a lobby to the tray ceiling hall ways, electronic key entry to recycling chutes being available at both ends of the floor to state of the art club house. Business center cater to our printing needs and home theater gives us a feeling of being at a movie theater. We are fortunate enough to stay in 1st building that has a gym and it's adjacent to the club house. So each day we get to hear the soothing sound of water fall on our way in and out of our building. Its more or less like a staycation. Ample unmarked parking for residents and guests. Very friendly and accommodating leasing staff. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. All of the negative reviews nailed the cons about living at this apartment complex. The management team has sent more emails to the residents this month than there are days in the month of February. They also do not proofread their emails and have many typos in almost every single correspondence, paper or email. They send a lot of empty threats and do not enforce them. This includes testing the dog poop left everywhere, towing any car in violation of the ever-changing parking policies, and closing the gym because some residents were not wearing masks. The apartments look modern and have nice layouts, but we all have thin ceilings and floors. The package system is very flawed and leaves a lot of residents without notice of their packages or with their items stuck in the "overflow" room. Lastly, the management team performs "emergency maintenance" quite often and gives almost no notice that the they need to enter your apartments, you need to move your car for stenciling, or to keep your pets locked away as they enter your apartment. There are many more grievances, but these are more than enough to never recommend this location. read more

Poor management. Money hungry establishment. Water is a nightmare. Extreme smell of rotten eggs and chlorine. Shower head filter doesn't even help. Parking is very limited- you'll be lucky to get a spot. Amenities are not kept clean. Gym (before it closed) smelt like a locker room and was dusty. Dog poop everywhere. Terrible insulation in the apartments. Not enough chairs at the pool. Amenities not built or maintained for amount of apartments. For the grand finale.. I moved out last month, patched and spackled the wall where the TV hung. Was charged $125 for "damages on the wall". Was told, woodmont has to go over it anyways so that's why they're charging me. Aka even if you patch the wall they're going to re do it just to charge you anyways. They should tell you that up front- and let everyone know DO NOT wall mount ANYTHING. Any thing to squeeze a penny out of their residents, especially during a pandemic? So kind. read more

So happy I chose Woodmont West. Lived at a similar place prior and no comparison. Ample parking so perhaps this was fixed before me. Friendly office staff and trusting maintenance staff. Love the food trucks!!! So fun! My apartment is gorgeous and the amenities are great. Snow removal based on our recent storm was awesome - they didn't stop until it was all blacktop. Received a recent flyer for residents to receive $750 for referring.... I will be referring everyone I know! read more

This is a great place to live if you are looking to get into walking but do not have the time. The parking system they have recently implemented will require you to park god knows where in relation to your apartment. You are able to have 1 reserved space, which may or may not be close to your apartment. You are then allotted one unreserved space. Somehow they have managed to screw up the assignment of parking spaces so spectacularly that there are all of a sudden not enough unreserved spaces for the amount of residents that live here. Reaching out to management to discuss this issue is pointless, as they will just tell you that there is nothing they can do at this time. The leasing team has been unhelpful since before move in. We moved in in August and are already counting down the days until we can end our lease. Save your time and your money, this is an expensive complex to live in to have these issues. read more

Woodmont West apartments are spacious and modern. They are located right off route 80. The apartments facing the highway let in a lot of light where as the once facing away from the motorway may be quieter but are also darker and some are damp in the winter. The clubhouse amenities are first class including the barbecue areas and the fully equipped gym. Small children love the playground and everyone else the basketball court. They even provide plots for the hobby gardeners. I do love living here here but the community is very transient and rent increases are substantial. Although the maintenance staff is very friendly they don't seem to be able to keep up with their heavy work demands. When outside vendors are needed for repair and maintenance it takes months to complete. The groundskeepers do come regularly. This is a pet friendly community. Most tenants own two dogs. The floors are noisy. You can hear the neighbors above and their pets walking which can be very annoying although I have never heard voices or electronic sounds. I suggest viewing other apartments not only the models. read more
