The rooms are very quiet, clean and scent free. The beds were firm but very comfortable. There's a nice pool that's well maintained and kept at a usable temperature. The staff was extremely nice and very efficient. The continental breakfast was a step above average. The dining area was clean and the selection of food was just right. I like that they had some great additions for children, and really aren't we all children at heart? There was a waffle making machine/station which my wife used with the help of the lady who was supervising, cleaning and restocking the area. They had a nice selection of breads and bagels with a toaster. There was also some biscuits and gray with sausage crumbles that you could add if you like. My favorite was the scrambled eggs with smoked kielbasa's on the side. There were little single serve peanut butter and jelly containers as well as butter. There was a refrigerator with fruit yogurt, milk, packages with two hard boiled eggs and for the children there was a fruit cup, apple sauce cup, Brekkies (a soft chocolate chip, oat and flax) cookie and last but not least Uncrustables. There was also single serve cereal containers ranging from mini-wheats to fruit loops. 24 hour coffee service was always spot on. All in all we had a very nice stay at a warm and friendly Inn.

It was nice having a couch and chairs that I could relax on rather than just having to sit on the bed. The odd thing to me, however, was that there's no closet and no great place to put your luggage. I think even a freestanding luggage rack would go a long way. They did have someplace to hang your clothes, but I do prefer an enclosed closet to cut down a clutter. I ended up putting my suitcase on a table. The breakfast selection was good. Very similar to other hotels like it. My biggest disappointment is that the associated restaurant is no longer open. It would be nice to wind down the evening with a glass of wine and a snack, but you can't have everything.

There were also several handwritten signs posted around the lobby that were a little difficult to read. Get into the room and it's relatively well kept. There were some questionable prints on the coffee table that didn't appear to be cleaned well. The AC unit was dripping water into a bucket, that dripped all night. The door to the bathroom is off and doesn't close without a good, strong, loud grating shove. The beds are hard and pillows are flat. The toiletries are extremely cheap. The shampoo and conditioner were in packets instead of bottles. The phone was broken and the alarm clock was not functioning. The morning of checkout (one night stay), we got a knock about 0930 from "housekeeping" who kept knocking even after we told them we didn't need them as we were getting ready to leave. They knocked three more times. We continued getting ready and packing when about 15 minutes later the male from the front desk knocked and I opened the door and he said "room service". I told him I didn't request room service and he said "you're checking out today?" Which I affirmed. Check out isn't until 1100. I felt like we were getting rushed out. And for no reason as their lot was empty and had been only half full the night before when we returned to our room. I would not return to this hotel nor would I recommend it.

The front desk clerk was very friendly and looked like she was working hard. The room has the phone key which I really like, when it works! The one negative was we were given a room with a noticeable smoke odor - on examination, the smoke seemed to be mostly within the chair (probably someone smoked there) - oh, yes, this is a non-smoking hotel. Unfortunately, there were no rooms available to switch to (sold out), so we had to tolerate it for the night [not cool]. We opened all the windows, turned on as many fans as possible, and lived through it. The next day, they did move us to another room, and gave us a credit toward about half of the night's stay. So, given this is hopefully an exception, and only their fault in that it wasn't caught by cleaning staff, we did enjoy the other three nights of our stay.
