It's a flashy website that looks great and seems to promise a lot but when you dig into it and actually visit the location you're told to find a support group on Zoom or offsite somewhere. And the atmosphere is not friendly; it's cold. But there are multiple links for donating money.

Kat reached out the very next day after reviewing our application and pre approved us. Yelena reached out for all coordination afterwards. Marigold was not even posted on the rescues page but they were so kind and were able to get us in to meet her. The foster mom (and dad) were wonderful and have been doing this for so long (60+ kitties). We instantly fell in love with Marigold and were able to be selected to adopt her (pat on our back for being able to provide a good home). She came from a hoarder home and was lucky to survive from malnutrition. We came back to get her after getting she completed her shots/spayed. Not even 24 hours in, my one year old tabby loves her and she is settling in perfectly. I will say I have had not so great experiences with other rescues in the area and Dirty Little Paws surpassed all expectations! I hope one day I can repay them and foster another baby in need.

Puppy raisers are not paid and accept the fact ahead of time that they will pay the costs of raising the puppy - that is part of their contribution to the cause. If there are unexpected medical bills, CC is able to help fund those. Puppy raisers sign documents that, among other things, explain that the puppy is always owned by the organization. They have a long wait list for these extremely well trained dogs, and vet the potential recipients so that the dogs go to the best fit and who is able to handle the dog. They have high expectations of their puppy raisers for good reason. Lives depend on these dogs and they have to perform perfectly. Having said that, they are extremely supportive of their raisers with in-person classes, sessions, videos, and manuals. From a donor's perspective, they run 'lean and mean' saving money for the real purpose of the organization - raising the best service dog puppies in the world. It is hard to understand the poor reviews given here. They should visit the campus and see for themselves.

First and foremost: their prices are RIDICULOUS, when they didn't use to be just six months ago. They have always been slightly higher than an average thrift store, because their products have been somewhat nicer, but not THAT nice. The last three or four times we've stopped by to browse, we've seen that their prices have DOUBLED or TRIPLED, to the point that they are now, honestly, just as, if not more costly than comparative items bought NEW (!) at retail outlets like Ross or TJ Maxx. This last time I was there, just a couple of days ago, they wanted $4-5 for a USED TEACUP, and $20 for a tiny little 5 x 7 framed print that would have cost $5 bucks at the TWO larger thrift stores that are literally about a stone's throw away, in shopping centers across the street. I was shocked - I doubt that print would have cost $20 when it was NEW! Suffice to say, I didn't buy it... or anything else. We have donated MANY good-quality, gently used items over the past six or seven years, but I will no longer be doing so, at least for the foreseeable future, as this place is, in my opinion, simply put, price-gouging customers. I even mentioned the exorbitant price increases to several associates, who merely smirked and laughed it off. It's not going to be funny when you can't pay your rent, because their customers are going elsewhere - literally, across the street. In addition, as several other reviewers have mentioned, I have also noticed that the staff they now have working there have become very rude and dismissive. Their attitudes have completely changed, compared to even just a few months ago, so I don't know what's happening with this place. It appears that they have dedicated foster parents who help transition these pups from shelter life to permanent placement in their forever homes. They were very honest with us about the dog we were adopting struggles with timidness and fear. They sent someone to do a home visit and we had to do an initial foster to adopt agreement for 2 weeks. If all worked out fine for both Shelby and our family then we were cleared to adopt. Which we did last Thursday. Shelby has had all her initial shots, was spayed and treated for fleas when we adopted her. All we needed to do was provide the love. Done. I would highly recommend Wagging Dog Rescue to anyone who is considering adopting a new member of their family.

Don't musicians suppose to play when they perform, instead? Today, indigent folks waited 4-5 hours for a turkey meal & when it arrived it was a cold slab or slice of processed turkey, limp green beans, clumps of gravy & dry stuffing. It taste like cold hospital food! What happened to the home cooked taste? Aaargh..The band died, along with the music. The wait was not worth it, at all! This will go down in history as the pits, the pits or the worst Thanksgiving of my life!!
