I'd give zero stars if I could. They only offer certain services at their oak lawn location which is about half an hour away from where I live, so that's already inconvenient. I scheduled an appointment for an ultra sound that was needed after a mammogram and they called a week later to cancel it stating the tech wouldn't be in that day. My only options were an appt 2 weeks later smack in the middle of my work day or an appointment 3 months later. apparently they only have one person who does these ultrasounds and mamograms, and only in the oak lawn office. when trying to request my mamo disc so I can try and go to a different provider I was told their system is being updated and should be available in about a week. it's now 3 weeks later and they are still updating systems so I still don't have my disc. this place is terribly run, and unfortunately I will either have to attend this appointment and miss several hours of work or cancel the appointment and wait who knows how long for the disc in order to be able to seek care elsewhere. read more

As a woman expecting their first child I expected a Women's Care facility to be able to treat their new patients better. When I called to make an appointment the woman who I spoke too did not explain what my first appointment would entail just told me it would be to confirm my pregnancy. When I arrived for the appointment the front desk told me to go to the restroom in the lobby, pee in the cup(which I had to assume was for a pregnancy test), leave my pee in there and I was "good to go." I came out and the front desk again stated again "you are good to go" so I left. I received a call 30 minutes later asking where I was. I explained the front desk told me "you're good to go" twice. I went back the following day to my confirmation of pregnancy appointment since their was a miscommunication the day before and the only things explained to me during this appointment was the billing process. Their OB coordinator was very nice and explanatory(exactly what a new mom needs). I asked the woman who took my blood if she could confirm that I was pregnant and her response was "I assume if you had to come back". I am the one assuming I'm pregnant that is why I went there. They should not be the ones assuming. Before I left I was not told what was next, I wasn't told any results, was not told when I would receive any test results, I was not told anything. All in all very poor care from the Oak Lawn Women's Care Group. Would not recommend. read more

Every doctor in the group is amazing. They care and treat you with respect. I even spoke to them about personal problems. Dr. Bieber is AMAZING! Dr. Nathan did my C-Section and she's also so amazing and Dr. Sheth is the sweetest doctor I've ever met. The front desk and nurses are also really nice. 10/10 experience. I had been searching for a new OB-GYN after negative experiences with previous physicians, and this office was recommended to me by a friend. I am so thankful she recommended this office to me! My physician, Dr. Bieber, is hands down the best doctor I have ever had, in any field or specialty. She's kind, compassionate, and caring. She always listens to my concerns; she doesn't cut me off or make me feel rushed or bad about anything. I've had some horrible experiences in the past, and I can honestly say that finding a doctor like Dr. Bieber has changed my life. She's made something scary much easier. For that, I will be forever grateful. And her nurse, Lisa, is the best! So sweet and genuinely caring. She has offered to hold my hand during procedures. She goes above and beyond her duties. Both of these ladies are incredible, and I am so blessed to have them as part of my care team. I've also been seen by Dr. Nathan, who was just as great. The amount of stress this facility has caused me during my pregnancy all because they do not have it together is insane. From the nursing staff to the billing department this place is a joke. Dr. Chronopolous is amazing and he is the only reason I pushed through and continued through the process. If you want to meet with a new doctor at every visit and have to reexplain the prior months of your pregnancy and feel as you are a new patient each time you go for a check up, then this is your place!!! Instead of looking in the system and requesting balance or copay due at the time of appointment check in - the front desk ladies just talk amongst themselves and treat the patients as if they are disturbing their day. No sense of comfort or care will ever be given from this place. Truly they are only here for a paycheck. I was sent to collections for a $100 balance that was never requested to me at the time of service or any appointment. I have blue cross PPO insurance so mostly everything was covered. I received a red notice saying balance due $0.00...so it was ignored. No bills were received. Once I gave birth in December and they decided to get their billing together they told me I had a $100 balance from May and if I don't pay it by the end of the week it was going to collections. Mind you I just had a had a baby a month prior to this and was not working at all. If I knew about this balance prior to it would have been paid. The amount of stress you put on me for a week and my husband telling me to let it go. We have to feed our child and pay for more important things right now than a past due co pay or balance that I am just now finding out about. So I moved on telling myself I will take care of that collections as soon as I get back on my feet. And here I am 9 months post partum finding out I have another little blessing on the way. I call WCG, I was told Ashley was going to call me back but she didn't ofcourse. I called again hours later talked to Angela told me pay my $100 collection balance and she will call to confirm paid and then transfer me to get my appointment scheduled. That was a week ago. My 1st confirmation appointment is tomorrow and I get a call today, "if you don't put a card on file for all balances we have to cancel your appointment." Gosh the way this office has made me feel is awful. I pay my bills. It's not like I owed them hundreds of dollars. Anytime I was asked for a payment at my visit I paid. You should take a look at your team and expect more from them, not your patients. This is supposed to be the happiest moments of our lives bringing a child into this world. This is not supposed to be this way. I will say it again, this practice does not genuinely care about mamas and their babies, they care about going to work to get a paycheck. That's it. If you don't love your job, you don't belong there. read more

Left group because they are 100 percent not supportive of vbacs. I was told "this is how you birth! You can choose your babys birthday" what an awful thing to say to a woman!! Took WEEKS and WEEKS and multiple phone calls met with snarky attitude to try and get my records in order to leave. Found a wonderful vbac supportive doctor in western springs and will be getting the birth I WANT (not what Foti wants) this coming may. I had to again call recently for operative records over a year later- met with more attitude on the phone saying they sent them over (they did not) finally FINALLY got my report sent to my new doctor and I'm due in just a few weeks. I'm trying to leave you guys and you won't give me my stuff??!! I'll send Foti a photo of me and my vbac baby in the next upcoming weeks. Calling yourself women's CARE group is a stretch and honestly a disgrace. Be more mindful how you treat pregnant women and their wants and needs to birth the way they want. I was looking for a doctor that would make me comfortable since this would be my first Pap smear. The staff here (nurses, doctors, and receptionists) do an excellent job. They are polite, patient, and helpful. Dr. Rebecca Lawrence is so kind, understanding, and genuinely cares for her patients. She did my Pap smear and also did a colposcopy on me for further testing. I am very pleased with the service here. Highly recommend. read more

This place should not have "Care" in it's name. My last pregnancy was awful and they dismissed how much I vomited (which I did at every appointment). Eventually I couldn't even hold down water for days and they said, "but that's your thing, right?" No, hydration is my thing especially being a black woman in her late 30s. On my 6 week check up they somehow convinced me to get an IUD, but then never called. When I called them they said that I "had no insurance ", but did I want to schedule my annual? Huh? Make it make sense. They ended up prescribing the nuvaring and not to my surprise they only sent one refill. So here I am on month 3 with no birth control. I do not recommend this place at all. read more

Why I transferred care and am glad I did. The office at 95th it self is nice, cleanish for the most part, the clinical staff is very nice (unless you're asking for your medical records to be faxed over to a new office) and the 2 women drs I was able to see during the rotation were nice informative and had great patient to physician boundaries. The male dr. Chrostonopolis however was distasteful and arrogant. I kept going to them and I was rounding to my 20th week, I had no issues until Dr. Bieber mentioned during a visit about having a scheduled c-section. To my surprise nobody in the office had mentioned they DO NOT do vbacs. That was never even a conversation they touched which is probably partly my fault but it's okay. I will add she was so apologetic when she found out I had no idea I'd be scheduled for a c section and kept apologizing for none of the other physicians telling me this beforehand. I left my visit crying trying to find a new office. I found a new office to go to so I needed my records, I filled out the form and expected them to be faxed over in 5-7days. Never happened. I had to show up and make a big deal for them to release them due to confusion about which office I'd called to. I eventually got them sent to the office and all was well. I had one last visit with them before my new office would officially take over my care. It was with dr. chronstonapolus (I'm sure I'm spelling his name wrong) he had never met me before, he started to question why I hadn't gotten a COVID vaccine and started to try and scare me into it by sharing things about potential problems I could have and my baby could have but not in a educational way in a bullying way. He was arrogant as to me wanting to try labor instead of having a c section and that "I should be careful what you wish for" because of how many women he's seen die from it. It was disgusting and disappointing for someone who's supposed to educate patients to instead try and scare and bully into staying somewhere that's not satisfying my needs. I spoke to the manager there about my time with him and although I'm not going back I felt that if someone who's having their first baby was talked to like that by him he'd scar them into doing things they may not need or just because he sees fit. He is the only one I wouldn't recommend and the only reason I'm giving the office such low stars. It's a nice office for a new pregnancy and a first baby but I am glad I found somewhere else. read more

The wait times are insane. Im writing this as I've been here waiting for an hour. It's a weekday at 10am. God help you if you try a weekend. But be advised if you are running late and call in they will tell you you have to reschedule and threaten to charge the late cancellation fee. Even if your pregnant... the front desk does not care. The dr will spend 2 minutes with you and send you on your way. They will ask you the same questions on your medicines even if you go every week like I did. Additionally, I called 5 days post delivery with some symptoms like headache, blurred vision and nausea and was told I had an appointment in 3 days and not to worry. I started feeling worse and called 3 more times. Asking if I could come in or talk to a dr. Finally at my sons pediatrician appointment later that day the dr noticed I didn't "look right" ... cut to I'm sent to the emergency room for extreme high blood pressure. When I called women's care group at the urging of my sons pediatrician- they literally asked me why I kept calling back because I allready had an appointment. They told me after I said my sons dr told me to call and it was urgent that I needed to immediately go to the emergency room. I was admitted for 24 hours. Thank goodness for my pediatrician giving a heck because the staff and nurse line could care less. The only reason I went to this group is for Dr. Luke but he is leaving private practice so there's no reason for me to continue my care here. read more

My wife came 3 weeks early to sign medical release and stated "we will take care of the rest". Come in for our appointment and "so sorry, you cannot be seen. Your records didn't come." Couldn't let us know maybe a day before that the results weren't sent over? Do they not know we take time off work to be here? Cannot make a comment on the medical staff. We were not aloud to see them. Shouldn't have happened. And the woman in the front stated "I'm too busy to check up on your records". read more

I needed a new gynecologist after Wellgroup "reorganized" my OB GYN and my primary care doctor right out the door, so I asked a coworker for a suggestion near our work. She couldn't say enough nice stuff about Dr. Chronopoulos, but I was thinking, "Gee, I don't know. I haven't had a male gynecologist since the perv who worked at my college health center." Still, her praise was impossible to ignore. She said that he makes her feel so comfortable she "forgets they have different parts." She could not have been more on-target! Dr. C is wonderful. I can't remember feeling so comfortable with a gynecologist, let alone a male. I was a bit surprised that the registration staff asked me about my co-pay (um, thanks to Obamacare there isn't one on preventive visits, see: http://thanksobamacare.org/index.php?id=10 ) and the building itself could use a good remodeling, but don't be concerned by outward appearances: You're in good hands with Dr. C. (I hear that Dr. C's other office in Orland is nice, if that changes your attitude). read more

Why i do not recommend Women's Care Group: The staff at the facility are amazing. They are very friendly and always made me feel at home. My issue comes Into play with how they scared me into having a C section I did not need to have. I was told for the last 4 months my baby's head was going to be huge, one of the drs even said during the appointment, "oh my god that's big!" When looking at my babies head size. I trusted these doctors with everything i had and every piece of me and was so very confident in everything they had to say to me. However, upon arriving at the hospital the entire staff helping me was beyond confused as to why I was scheduled a C section due to they ultra sounds they took showing absolutely no sign of a baby over 7lbs even. I was asked if I wanted to talk to my Dr when he arrive...during labor or if i wanted to try to push. Me being terrified having my first child and being told for 4 months I would basically come in with 3 holes and leave with 2 trying to push him, i wanted to wait and talk to Dr Luke. My dr arrived and pushed me into the operating room. I had assumed he talked to the other drs there who were telling me there was absolute NO needs for a c section. But obviously that was no communicated. My C section went amazing. Dr Luke is a master at his craft. However part of the craft should be knowing if a women needs a surgery or now. I am disappointed in the the Drs for telling me week after week I needed a c section when I absolutely did not. My child's head was below average size actually. I was scared into thinking this was the best decision and even when the hospital questioned it, I said wait for my dr and I will talk to him. He didn't want to talk apparently. I have a friend working at a hospital the practice deliveres at and has heard 2 other story's that are too similar to mine to not question what these drs intentions are behind closed doors. More money from insurance? My questions about why I was told c section were brushed off by the nurses and drs following my delivery, as if accidental c sections happen all the time. I absolutely LOVE the staff but I unfortunately have no trust left for the people in this office. read more

I went there to have an ultrasound and pelvic exam and was told by the physician that there was something in the ultrasound that she has never seen before. She said that she was going to contact some of her colleagues and get their opinion about it. One of the colleagues were an ONCOLOGIST, so that made me nervous. She said to schedule a followup appointment and we will discuss during my next visit. The morning of my next visit, I received a call from the staff stating that I had a past due bill that must be paid right now or I can't see the Dr. I told them that I was never told about a bill at any of my previous visits and I never received a bill in the mail. She just repeated herself and said "You must pay this bill in order to see the physician". I asked if there was a payment plan and she said no. I then told her about my last visit and said this appointment is a follow up appointment to see if I potentially have cancer. With no remorse, she repeated herself and said "You can not see the physician unless you pay this balance in full." Clearly money is more important than their patients lives. I work in the healthcare field and patients always comes first. I understand that they have a business to run but this is my life we're talking about. Healthcare is very expensive so why wouldn't they have some type of payment plan? If they would've told me this in advance, I would've made sure that it was paid before the appointment but they didnt tell me anything until the day of the appointment. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

If I can give 0 stars I would! I don't recommend this group, especially if you are high risk pregnancy or had a miscarriage before. I was pregnant with twins and was complaining of pain and one of the doctors said it was normal and a few weeks after that during an ultrasound they discovered that my cervix was shortening. Mind you I was complaining weeks before this that I was in pain down there and was told it was normal. Then two weeks after that my water broke at almost 19 weeks and I had to deliver my baby boys. I was at the hospital by 1pm and was doing tests and ultrasounds in triage and they could already see the first baby's feet practically out. But yet I had to wait until 9pm for the doctor from this care group to come to the hospital to literally just pull the baby out. He then left and the nurse at the hospital delivered the second baby. I didn't even see the doctors until the next day in the afternoon. With that being said these doctors did nothing to help me. It was the incredible nurses at the hospital and the high risk doctor from triage not the care group who were there for me. I fainted twice from all the blood that I lost. Then a week later I go back to the care group for a follow up appointment because they told me to come and when I see another doctor at this group he asks me why I am there. I broke down and told him what happened and he's says oh I'm so sorry I was getting "updated" that day minute by minute.. But yet he's asking me why I am there. Two months later I went to the office to sign a medical release form so they can fax my records to another doctor and I had to call them two weeks later because the records still weren't sent. I spoke to someone at the front desk and they told me there's a note saying that you have to pay your balance before we can send the records. That's exactly what was said to me (which I think is illegal). So a few days later I show up to the office and the lady I gave my medical release form was there and told me "you said you'd pay your bill when you get your next paycheck." I explained to her money is tight and I can't afford to pay a $700 bill. She tells me well billing handles records and they are out of the office at 3pm. You'll have to come back or give them a call while they are in the office. So the next morning I called and spoke to the billing manager and she told me they don't hold records for payment and that the front desk takes care of records and they are just behind. They just keep sending me back and forth.. but when I did pay my bill they sent the medical records seconds after the payment went through and it was after 3:30pm. So they lied and they did hold my records until I paid my bill. With everything that I went through which I was told could have been prevented(by one of their doctors) they had no sympathy and just cared about the money that they did not deserve. They didn't even call me or check on me after I delivered and fainted. While all the nurses from the pregnancy floor at Christ Hospital and doctor from triage sent me a card and each of them signed it. Do not go to this place! read more

I would highly recommended Women's Care Group! The staff is knowledgeable, caring and concerned. I am in my mid 40's and started having severe pain about 18 months ago. I was sent to the ER by my previous gynecologist but they were unable to determine the source of the pain. I reached out to Women's Care Group and they had me come to their office the same day! They were able to get me in for additional tests with other specialists within days and I had a diagnosis and was on a path to recovery! I have since returned for regular follow ups always to receive the best care. If you are looking for a doctor's office that cares about women's issues look no further!!!!!!! read more

I have been going to Woman's Care Group for almost three years now, and I can't imagine going anywhere else! The staff is extremely professional from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The Doctors and NP's talk you through your options and help guide you to your best possible choice. I've been to Dr Chronopolis, Dr Sheth, as well as Mary Bisaga (due to MY lack of flexibility in scheduling) and I felt incredibly comfortable with each of them! I would recommend any and all of them! I will say I was hesitant to see a male doctor my first time, but Dr Chronopoulos immediately made me feel comfortable. He discussed all the birth control options with me and helped me to make the best decision for my body. I appreciated that he didn't pressure me to go with one option over the other. Both the Orland Park and new Oak Lawn locations are beautiful. I would highly recommend WCG! read more

I have been going to the Oak Lawn office for about a year now. I have not had a single complaint. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Thanks to the ladies at the front desk (can only think of Mary) I was able to have all my pregnancy appointments without having to take a day off from work. Tuesdays and Wednesdays are open late. That was a huuuuuge plus for me as I commute to work. I had to go to their Orland Park office twice. It is a little far but I was in and out of the office in less than 30 minutes. As other reviewers mentioned, the building itself at the Oak Lawn office is outdated but Good news! they are moving to their new offices on 95th street. All the doctors and nurses are very nice and take the time to explain everything in detail. Did I mention the great sense of humor? Anyway, overall, I would highly recommend Women's Care Group to anyone looking for a new OBGYN. read more

Women's Care Group is an excellent office with highly trained doctors and nurses. I would not recommend someone lightly and have been going here for eight years. Since Dr. Luke delivered all of my kids, I highly recommend him. As long as you know what you want, the doctors will work with you. I wanted natural births and they worked with me to attain that. As a patient, and parent, it is important to balance doing research on your own and knowing what you want, and also taking advice from professionals that have gone to school to learn their job. Dr. C can be a little pushy and opinionated, but he is also a great doctor. My personal favorite is Dr. Luke. He takes time to talk to you about things and listens to your concerns and works with you. I don't think that you can go wrong using Women's Care Group. read more

I have seen all of the physicians and nurse practitioners in this practice and have only good things to say about each of them. I am so grateful to these physicians for keeping me and my babies healthy and safe throughout my pregnancies and deliveries. Honestly, I don't know why people are trying to ruin a good practice so I feel like I should speak up. Dr. Chronopoulos and Dr. Luke are awesome doctors. They are not perfect because they are human beings. I know that somebody is trying to get me to stop coming to their office but I won't. Chronopoulos helped me out when my blood pressure started to yo-yo at the end of my pregnancy. He was very concerned about me and was respectful. He never made my husband and I feel like morons when we had basic questions that we probably could have found the answers to online. He took his time to explain what his concerns were for me and my daughter. In the end, my daughter and I are doing great. I give credit to him and his practice for catching the smallest signs and treating them before they became big problems.I have had girl friends ask me where to go and I have sent them to him and Dr. Luke. They were looking for female doctors but are pleasantly surprised about how much they like being at Women's Care Group. Honestly, no solicitations would persuade me to leave the practice. read more
