He is very hard working and it's obvious he is very dedicated to doing a great job. Which he did. He explains everything he is going to do and shows you the progress along the way. There was a power shutdown that was supposed to…read morelast only a couple of hours, but it ended up going on all day, which caused me to miss out on a job opportunity While I was yelling at my landlord for not properly informing me the owner of this company approached me from behind and began mocking my job, which was completely unprofessional so I told him to get out of my parking spot which upset him and some words were exchanged between the both of us Shortly after, I overheard him speaking with my landlords and saying he would be willing to falsely claim that I had attacked or threatened him in order to help them eliminate my tenancy if they wanted. Concerned, I went outside and confronted them, letting them know I could hear what was being said. At that point, he called the police and told me "hows your probation officer going to like that"which is completely unfounded and have i never been in trouble with the law. He did end up calling the police, but when they arrived, it was clear there was no issue, and the situation had been unnecessarily escalated Overall, I found this behavior highly unprofessional and concerning. I would strongly caution others based on this experience.

Poor Service and more. I had a service agreement…read more Comfort Zone's technician diagnosed fumes from my fireplace and he said the fireplace needed a new part. Fine, so far. Comfort Zone ordered the part and it took months to arrive -- ok, supply chain issues, I thought. Another of their technicians came but couldn't install it because he said the glass would break. Then, Comfort Zone didn't contact me at all. I had to go to their location and demand service. They sent who they called "their best technician at no cost to me". He said the perimeter was a little bent and adjusted it within a few minutes and left without checking the air quality. By this time, my fireplace had been shut down for the whole winter. This month, in preparation for this winter, I got another company in to check the fireplace and the fumes, which are a health hazard, are still there!! That's the worst part! The new company has ordered a new glass for me, which I am paying for, in full. Thank goodness for them. That was my service experience, on a service agreement.

My family has dealt with the sterling location for over 20 years, and we have noticed a marked…read moredecline in both customer service and product. Do not buy a pool blanket from these people. The original blanket that was bought 27 years ago(previous owners being Peterborough pool and patio) lasted 8 seasons. Sterling bought out Peterborough Pool amd Patio around 6 hears ago and now you would be lucky to buy a blanket and get 2 years out of what is now a multi-coloured, multi-grade pool blanket, that will probably not fit your pool. The explanation given was that the pool owners could "trim it down themselves" even though the blankets was clearly sealed around the entire edge. Has anyone ever done this? Is that what you paid for? I've had enough of their lazy attitudes and explanations, and their false confidence due to their business being one with very little local competition. I plan to drive to Toronto and pick up the next pool blanket before setting foot in that business again. Stop enabling bad businesses because they're local.

Our builder had two attempts to correct the deficiencies and failed to do so. Sarj explained everything him and his team would do to ensure the fixes would meet our expectations. He came in on weekends to do the work so it would fit our schedule. As well when I pointed out a few small areas that hadn't covered well the first time, he repainted the entire room again free of charge. There was honest, open communication throughout the process and Cad and Ash were also professional and a pleasure to be around. We highly recommend Sarj and his team as they really finally fixed what our builder failed to do!!!

Thumbs Down! They USED to be great! They have pictures of a job they did for me on their Facebook…read morepage over a year ago and the work was good. Now they have taken on more projects than they can handle and instead of communicating and letting customers know that they do not have time to complete what they started, they just keep giving false hope that they will finish. I gave them two extra months to finish and barely anything has been done in that time. The bathroom (the only bathroom in the house!) that they said was 9-days work still isn't complete, and the work they did do has to be fixed because the plumbing rough-in is wrong. They will argue there was a delay and that is true, there was a delay - but that was in May and after that they still reassured me they would be done July 31, and then August 31 and then extended again to Sept 30. This is a rental property for us, so we had to disappoint wonderful potential tenants that were interested in renting the house. As of today, October 7, framing and rough-in has not been completed yet. The house is a huge mess, they left garbage everywhere. I gave up on them finally because it has to be completed this month and they were still lying to my face. We are going to roll up our sleeves and do it ourselves and hire reliable contractors for the parts we cannot do ourselves. You may ask why we didn't do that in the first place but it was because we were fixing up 2 other rental properties in that time - those 2 were completed on time and have been rented. I truly hope if you decide to hire them you have a better experience.
