An ideal destination for walkers, runners and cyclists alike and personally my number one route when training for the Great North Run. Yes the seating isn't always the comfiest and the paint may be flaking off the walls but I personally wouldn't trade anything in case it upset the ambience of the place. If the weather is nice checking out the beer garden is an absolute must to soak up the breathtaking views. Also hurrah for a pub that offers a good selection of drinks that won't dent the bank balance. Only one last statement....try it for yourself!
