I never want to go anywhere else for my dental needs!! Yes,…read moreI'm a 33 year old that is scared of the dentist. Yes, like for real. I white knuckle it the whole time, get a little light headed and just feel so uncomfortable while people are digging around in my mouth. After years of dental nightmares and being blessed with not super great teeth, I have finally found a place where I can relax. Judy at the front desk is the first interaction that you will have at River Ridge and she is a PEACH! She will get you scheduled over the phone and then get you all checked in when you arrive. She immediately put me at ease. From there, you're taken to a nice, large exam room and work starts immediately. I hate when I have to sit there and stew for 30 minutes while I wait for my hygienist to come around, but that has never happened here. My time is just as precious to them as it is to me and I always get right in and right out. As an added bonus, after not seeing a dentist for a few years, I was not judged or scolded. I was simply told that they were excited to see me again in 6 months. When I returned, the Dr asked if I was happy with the color of one of my teeth that I had previously had some work done on. I told him no, and he made a plan to get it looking like new! I now have two matching front teeth and I never realized just how insecure I was about my old tooth! Long story short, I will never go anywhere else ever again. River Ridge is my new dental 'home' and I look forward to seeing them every six months from here on out! PS- The windows in each exam room are awesome and occasionally there are deer that pass by!

The 1st time I had dental work done, Dr. Wilken called me that evening to make sure everything was OK. I was so impressed that she takes the time to make sure her patients are doing good. Just thinking about going always puts me in a cold sweat and basically just gives me a panic attack. I forced myself to go again as I thought I had teeth breaking (I didn't). This office cured me of my dental fears! The whole staff being women drew me in first when I was looking for a new dentist. I'm so so happy I found them. Every single one who talked to me was super compassionate, empathetic, and just kind. Not a single one seemed fake, annoyed, or put out as I've felt from other offices before. You can tell they truly care about their patients. They walked me through every step along the way and told me exactly what they were doing and why. They were all so easy to talk to and put me at so much ease, it was incredible. The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. I couldn't be happier that I found this place! I will be transferring my daughter over here as well. I *never* thought I I'd ever say that I'm excited to go back to the dentist. That's how good they are. They took someone with a real phobia and turned me into someone who's looking forward to my next appointment! I honestly couldn't be happier. Reducing a mom's cortisol levels is doing gods work, ladies. Now I feel like I'm walking on air. I'm so excited to continue working with them for upcoming cosmetic treatments now!
