So I will attempt to keep this review updated occasionally for everyone's benefit. So we went to look at / possibly pick up a puppy. Unfortunately our willpower is weak and we left with two dogs. The drive home was rough because it's 13 hours but the dogs did great we however were exhausted. We held off introducing our current senior dog and kids until the following day to allow them to settle into their new home. The following day we did a walk in the field with all three dogs they did great. Kids got home from school and fell in love recieved a ton of kisses and love and cuddles. These dogs are falling in love with our little ones hard. Our biggest problem so far is I can't keep our daughter from kidnapping the puppy to play house. They both respond well with commands even the puppy. Yesterday I leashed the older pup and handed him off to my 8 yo. He was slightly confused because he can't pronounce the commands in Dutch well (we are working on that). However he walked great on the lead for him even trying to respond to mispronounced commands the confused looks were hilarious. They are truly loving their new life. They are so far amazing animals super curious and playful. Temperament is kind of strange for the breed. Almost unreasonably calm and playful if you sit on the ground they will crawl right up on you for cuddles and love eventually they just fall asleep in your lap and we love it. So far the only complaint is they confuse their toys with my daughters occasionally but drop them as soon as they are told and redirected to their own chewies obviously my daughter has a million stuffed animals, so it's going to be a process one we are doing wonderful with. As for the location it's beautiful. Kennels are clean and kind of a cool set up a little jealous honestly. Dogs are well kept and overly nice. I stuck my hand in all but two kennels and the dogs enjoyed the attention. The only two we couldn't pet, we were told not to because of their training. Not being able to pet two out of all the dogs they had was crazy. You can't pet most of the military dogs I've worked in conjunction with it's too much of a risk. My dream was absolutely realized when I got to sit with a ton of puppies in one big area and let them just crawl everywhere and kiss and cuddle. Literally could make a business just out of cuddling puppies. There is no photography or video on site for obvious reasons so I don't have any pics but it's awesome. As far as complaints about putting down a deposit before you can go it's obvious, they don't run a petting zoo. Michael and the trainer dropped everything they were doing and we had their full attention for over 3 hours. This is a business and it makes total sense to do that. We spoke in great depth about our household and our dog we wanted. So far we got everything we asked for. read more

***SCAM BUYERS BEWARE*** ***PRICE EXPLOITAION*** I'm sorry to break the news to anybody who purchased a puppy from Wolfsbane k9 but in the case of the litter negotiated from the Holland breeders post on may 7th 2019......Rudie BRN 31253 is not the father. Below is the picture advertising the father of the litter. The dog pictured is crespo BRN 27132. This picture was sent to me directly from his holland kennels' breeder. You see but it gets worse....I am a military service member currently serving overseas near holland and I found Wolfsbane K9 from a google search, as you all know the website was was great and most of the reviews have nothing but good things to say. Well, I contacted wolfsbane and got in contact with Michael and he set me up with his holland breeder. He even told me I was gonna save a lot of money. It all seemed well until I took my dog to one of my military connections who gave me the scoop. I have never felt so taken advantage of... I paid around $2200 for my pup..... a steal right? Well it was ....for wolfsbane K9 and Michael. My buddy told me that the dog I bought wasn't worth more than about €600 and that would be a fair price. I couldn't believe it. So I called around, asked some of the local dog kennels what was a fair price and what they sell them for it was all about the same. One dog trainer had a pup that came from same father as my pup again only paid around €600 I see such great reviews and had such high hopes. I learned the hard way, hopefully people will read this review and not make the same mistakes. I can see why he can afford to give away so many pups to military and veterans. I paid for 3 dogs and only got one. ***Just to be clear we aren't talking about a dog that is trained, this was a 8 week old pup*** ***Also breeder told me this was his first time breeding puppies, so much for quality. And mother of the litter had no BRN number so all the advertising about both mother and father knpv, at least in this case was wrong. ***In all of the the rebuttals to the upset customers, notice this..... there is never any wrong doing or mistake on the part of wolfsbane what does that say, no effort to make it right, just an attempt to discredit the upset customer other businesses don't act this way, I would even challenge you to look for a simple apology, Not one "We're sorry" read more

If you own K9 Annie, K9 Duke, or K9 Cane please contact Lucas at (406) 836-2271. He is the trainer who raised from 7 weeks old, finished all of these dogs, titled, and sold them third party through Wolfsbane K9. He is willing to continue training and answer any questions you may have regarding your protection canine. Below is a photo of Lucas and Annie. We are two trainers who attended a world renowned dog training school. This review is being wrote from a canine professional's stand point. We do not with to bash this company or who runs it. We want the facts out there for anyone who is interested in purchasing a high price point puppy or adult dog from this company. Lucas and Michael Wade (the owner of Wolfsbane K9) had been friends for many years. Michael offered Lucas a job as head trainer. As you know if you have met any of the dogs listed above.. they are perfect family protection dogs Michael was able to sell for $10,000+ each. When Lucas bought his first puppy from Michael years back.. the housing for the dogs, their care, and the breeding was great. After finishing school and returning to their "kennel" it was a very sad sight and Lucas decided to reject the head trainer position and move on. In previous years, Michael made very educated choices on which dogs he decided to breed. All dogs were sound and kept in good health. The puppies were kept in high quality whelping areas. They were worked with and trained daily. After returning to the Wolfsbane "kennel" ALL of the runs were ankle deep in mud, almost all of the dogs were EXTREMELY emaciated. They were chewing on the chain link fences that separated them. Their Kennels were not cleaned daily and some of the dogs teeth were so worn from chewing on the fence they were down to the nerve. Michael explained to Lucas he doesn't take the dogs out much any more because of his health issues. He also can't control a lot of the dogs he gets shipped in from over seas. Michael is not a dog handler, he is a "breeder" who is trying to raise and sell family protection dogs. He cannot handle dogs that know how to use aggression and there have been multiple instances where he has used fear tactics on dogs through abuse of remote collar systems to very unfairly "train" dogs. There has also been instances that Michael would just all together neuter or euthanize dogs he can't handle. Lucas personally worked K9 Brett, and told Michael this dog should not be in a family home.. but the moment this dog had a serious buyer.. he was sold. Read the review before this one to learn more. Wolfsbane K9 used to produce an elite class of working dog in the USA. In the last few years their kennel has become more of a money hungry puppy mill. All ethical breeders I know do this as a hobby, Michael is trying to make a company from breeding dogs. Wolfsbane K9 sells the idea that Malinois dogs are the perfect family dog. Easy to handle and "robot" like in the way that training will come easy. Please do not buy into this. A high drive dog who knows how to use aggression to get what it wants needs a trained handler. If you or anyone you know is looking to purchase a protection dog, Malinois, or compete. Please contact your local sport dog or PSA club. Do not be fooled by a breeders cool website, social media pages, and high price. Please make the decision to educate yourself on the real maintenance it takes to have a protection dog in the home. A BREEDER SHOULD HAVE UNLIMITED RESOURCES FOR YOU! They should also be providing X-Rays, Passport, Health Records, Tags, and Training Recourses! Wolfsbane K9 has blocked many people on their Facebook page who knows the truth about their kennel. Buyers beware. read more

Six years ago we had the privilege of purchasing a puppy from Michael Wade. He was very thorough in the interview process and wanted to understand why we wanted a Malinois. Fast forward until now, Michael has become a friend and we still communicate. I have had dogs over the course of my life (I'm 47) and could not be more happy with my Malinois. This breed is not for everyone. You must do your part and exercise the pup/dog and train them properly. Our Malinois is loved by many in our community. Michael picked out the perfect puppy based on our needs and wants. If you want a quality pup/ dog, Michael is the breeder for you. Bryan P and Anna P read more

Update- We decided against legal action against Wolfsbane K9 as we received assistance from reputable trainers from the US and the Netherlands, they were willing to help out even though they did not sell us the dog....because I have learned that most reputable k9 trainers here and abroad dislike k9 businesses that operate in an undesirable manner and give everyone in the industry a bad name. I could write a book about what I have learned about Wolfsbane K9 over the last 8 months, but I won't go there. The businesses response is laughable at best. What I learned from the KNPV world is this...the business is not well known or respected abroad....most of the reputable KNPV clubs, trainers have never even heard of them because Wolfsbane K9 uses what I would call "questionable" brokers to find titled dogs (most of which are not kept abroad to further train or title because they have problems)....so essentially you are likely getting an over priced and questionably marketed k9. I have been in contact with several well respected importers and trainers from the Netherlands and US....they all have similar opinions of the business. This is the last and final post regarding this matter. Some may want to utilize Wolfsbane K9's services to buy a dog and that is a personal choice. I can just say that I choose not to deal with businesses that operate in such a manner. read more

Read the above review, I'm not sure how Wolfbane starting going downhill so fast, I've known them for years. Now it's come down to unsatisfied customers and unfulfilled obligations. Part of a deal I made for K9 Annie was $10,000 and a puppy from a litter of my choice and pick, I even let him make payments on the dog. He has yet to pay me for the puppy or give me the puppy. All because he sold K9 Duke as a fully finished dog to a millionaire with absolutely no training for the buyer or follow up, I have ALWAYS and WILL always offer free LIFETIME support for any of my dogs sold. These dogs are not robots and they are very intelligent they learn how to get out of things quickly if the handler isn't trained to maintain the training. Micheal is not a trainer nor is he a handler. I've seen him handle dogs and it's poor at best, When you sell a knpv titled dog to a family that should have never of gotten the dog to begin with and you can't tell the difference between a retrieval command and a bite command? Sad. I need to offer free lessons and training those that need help with a wolfsbane dog, if you are not in my area I can easily do phone calls and video chats. **update** since this review has been posted multiple people have reached out about my dogs and dealings with wolfsbane K9! Thank you so much for the help. I'd like to add that Michelle tried to sell me back K9 Duke and when I jumped at the opportunity to purchase him I asked for specific photos I knew he wouldn't have unless the dog was still alive and well, He sent watermarked photos I found on google in 5 mins. Buyers beware! He's go to slang is You can Trust me! We're friends. read more

Great family. We purchased Chewie Louie our Malnfrom Wolfbanes and I couldn't be happier. I can go on and on about this family but I'll share just a quick story that speaks volumes to who these guys are. I fell into a financially troubling situation as soon as Louie was ready to come home. I'm a small contractor and one of my prime contractors defaulted on a sizable payment. I reached out to Wolfbanes to ask if I could have more time to get things together. The Wades went way above and beyond, by not only keeping Louie for me; but Micheal through in a little training just to make the homecoming a little easier. My litter was a very high demand litter (much like all of Wolfbanes litters), however Micheal could've sold my pup easily. He trusted me and informed me that he would hang on to Louie for much longer than I needed. He only asked me to be honest with him about my purchase, so that he could make sure Louie didn't get to old if needing to go to another home. He then told me that he and his family would be praying for me and mine to get through this road bump. He says all the time that you are apart of the Wolfbanes family once you purchase a pup, well I feel like I was adopted in before completing the purchase. God answers prayers, and I was awarded a big contract, with a hefty advance payment about a week later. The following week my prime contractor made good on their debt and all was well again. Wolfbanes didn't have to do any of this and did because they are good people. Since getting Louie home, I'm in regular communication with Michael and he always helps me with training ideas, behavior issues, or just a warm check in. Bottom line is I couldn't be happier with my decision to purchase a Wolfbanes K9!!!! Great breeder, great people, and just a great freaking continuous experience!!!!!! read more

I haven't gotten a puppy from them yet, but I know how to spot good and bad breeders. The Lessons in Aggression brought me to your page and the handler obviously knew what he was doing. Shouldn't be a surprise, but there are a lot of "dog trainers" who think they know what they're doing. This place is different! They get to know the dog from their POV, which is crucial in understanding behavior and body language read more

My Mal is from Wolfsbane, I am his 4th placement and there was a lot of "unknowns" when I got him. I contacted them with the info I had and they were able to track down his lineage and have been super helpful with every question I have had and still answer any questions I have. When it comes time for a second I will not hesitate to go there. Hoping to "win the puppy" but if not, will be seeing them in the future regardless. read more

I live in Colorado, and am known by my friends for doing exhaustive research before I decide on a purchase. My Mal, "Bodhisattva" was born on Oct. 16th 2019 at Wolfsbane K9. I received him after doing initial 4 week puppy training with Wolfsbane 12 weeks later (I highly recommend). He just turned 14 mn.'s today. I have owned 3 German Shepard's and a border collie over the last 30 years, so I'm used to high energy dogs (grossly exaggerated, in my opinion, about needing to be able to keep up), but Bodhi is my first Malinois. I will never go back to anything else! He is hands down the smartest, sweetest and eager to please dog that I've ever owned or met! I am pretty active with him, but in general just my "hiking buddy". I go to a lot of national and dog parks with him, and am constantly stopped and asked/told, "what a beautiful dog", "what kind is he", and in general just a lot of people being curious, since he is an extremely attractive dog. I am starting to see more Mal.'s in my travels, but have yet, to see what that is even close to Bodhi's/Wolfsbanes amazing confirmation and sweet disposition. The whole process when buying from Wolfsbane, was made very simple and exciting because of my communication with their lead sales associate Michael Wade. He listened to what I was looking to accomplish with my new pet and recommended a particular male and female breed combination, long before Bodhi was even conceived. Boy, did he get it exactly right! I really wish I could give an extra star, because five just doesn't describe how much I hold Wolfsbane K9 in regard! I will definitely be going back to Wolfsbane for any future dog purchases. Thanks to everyone at Wolfsbane for helping me connect with my new best friend. read more

Let me save you some time, money and aggravation. I'm from Boston and my family bought a trained adult Malinois from Wolfsbane K9 in June, 2016. Our experience is with German Shepherd Dogs and this was our first Malinois. If you've made a decision to get a trained Malinois for protection purposes and as a family pet (please make sure you know what you're getting into), Wolfsbane K9 is your best bet. I researched and contacted almost every provider of adult Malinois dogs in the United States and Wolfsbane K9 was the obvious choice, and it wasn't even close. There are an infinite number of ways purchasing an adult dog can go wrong and you are in trouble if you're not working with a competent and ethnical business owner. Without a solid recommendation, you can only do so much due diligence and you're going to have to enter into a trust relationship with the provider you purchase from who has the upper hand on knowledge of the Malinois business as well as their dogs. Wolfsbane K9 is run by Michael Wade, a very skilled Malinois dog breeder and trainer and perhaps even more importantly, a sincere and honest businessman. The adult dogs he has are the best of the best KNPV titled dogs (be sure to understand what this means since it's important, ours is a PH1 Met Lof), brought over from Holland and tweaked for American living situations. And as a bonus, the pricing of his adult trained dogs are a good value... Actually a really good value compared to others due in part to the lean operation and focus (protection dogs only) of his business. The communication and transparency with Michael was top-notch, he didn't play any games and expects his clients to do the same; it's an old-school business practice that's surprisingly refreshing. If you decide to pull the trigger and agree to purchase a dog from Wolfsbane K9 after discussing your situation and needs (we needed one that would work in a densely populated suburban environment), you'll be happy to see that the standard contract is very client-centric and surprisingly so. He gives you buyer protections that he really doesn't have to, but it's just the way they do it. Because of the cost involved I do suggest you have your attorney review the contract like I did. Wolfsbane K9 is growing and has had many repeat customers and it shouldn't be a surprise since they are a very well-run business. Once the contract details are out of the way, Wolfsbane K9 provides flexibility in delivery options so check out their site for details. Michael accommodated our special request to meet in person between Boston and his Tennessee home base. We wanted a little handler training and he obliged and it was an enjoyable experience. We learned some important things in the handler training and is something I recommend if you are new to the breed and if driving logistics make sense for you. The bottom line for my family is that we wanted a quality trained adult Belgian Malinois and we got one with Wolfsbane K9 and I'm confident that you will too. We now have a wonderful Malinois and couldn't be happier with our choice of both dog and business to have purchased him from. Be sure to check out the Wolfsbane K9 Facebook page to get a sense of the community that has been built around this business and I challenge you to find another Malinois provider that has so many fans, both buyers and people who admire the breed. Feel free to contact Mr. Wade if you would like to discuss with me further anything about our experience with his business. ---- Update: On 2/3/2018, we took delivery of our second Wolfsbane K9 trained adult. I still endorse this business and continue to agree with everything I've written in this review from mid-2016. read more

I was initially very excited about getting a Mal puppy from Wolfsbane. I selected them based on the sales pitch, the info he shared about his dogs, and the strength of the positive reviews. I followed Wolfsbane K9 on Facebook. Michael was very helpful when it came to customer service, although there were some weird mix-ups initially in terms of whether or not a dog was available after I had paid my deposit. First it was, then it wasn't, then it became magically available again. What was he doing?!? No explanation forthcoming. Red flag #1. I finally got my puppy. What I got was not AT ALL what I had expected. Essentially, I paid top dollar for what turned out to be a timid, pet quality dog. One day a few months ago, Mr. Wade posted a free puppy give-away 'lottery' on his Facebook page, and all he asked for in return was a positive review. I got several emails from him asking for the same. That aroused my curiosity right away, which led me to the negative reviews here on Yelp that others had posted. Needless to say I was taken aback. I wanted to give Mr. Wade all the benefit of the doubt based on how I hoped my dog would turn out, how helpful he appeared to be, and the money I had spent to get her. I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, also, based on how many other people say they are happy with his dogs. Fast-forward to now, when I contacted him about the dog I bought from him. He said he never takes dogs back BUT he waited for me to explain all the reasons why I am dissatisfied with her, THEN he proceeded to attack me personally and blame me for not training the dog (which isn't true), and for not buying a Bassett hound. He could have simply said he doesn't take dogs back and left it at that, OR he could have given me the same answer and asked about her training, but he didn't. He went way out of his way to write a snotty, condescending, insulting reply. Now I get to add everything up about Michael Wade... how he has treated me without cause, the Christian persona he works to project while he kicks you hard in the head when no one is looking, and his efforts to bury his negative reviews which frankly, now appear to be very well deserved. I really have to wonder now if his dogs are really of the quality he claims or even if the the papers are accurate. As another reviewer pointed out.... "most of the reputable KNPV clubs, trainers have never even heard of them because Wolfsbane K9 uses what I would call "questionable" brokers to find titled dogs". Honestly, it's all starting to add up. Don't get me wrong, I'm not blaming Mr. Wade for this dog's poor temperament, which no one could have predicted. I am, however, very disappointed in the difference between the facade he works hard to maintain and what's actually behind door #2. Caveat lector! read more

I have to change my review for the following; I've known Micheal for a very long time, I bought my first Mal from him well before I started my dog training career. Micheal took that same dog in to watch and board for me ( his military policy for any veteran going in for medical treatment) he was so I'm pressed with the way the dog had turned out that he said if I attended a dog training school and learned more protection he'd give me a job. all of my dogs I got for the school was purchased through wolfsbane k9 and used for all the requirements for one of the hardest k9 schools in the country. wolfsbane then bought all of those dogs back from me after the school. 1.] wolfsbane k9 offered me the head training position at their kennel, then when I moved there they wanted me to lead nothing involving training and argued my methods, currently they have a pure positive trainer doing their entire puppy program, no bite work experience, etc. 2.] I've personally trained a few dogs start to finish from puppy to adult to exclude one special dog in particular, and wolfsbane k9 bought them from me. K9 CANE, K9 ANNIE, K9 DUKE, K9 BANE. I sold these dogs for: CANE -- 10,000 ANNIE--10,000 plus a puppy from a future litter ( doubt that will happen) DUKE -- 16,000 BANE--2,000 michEal contacted me about K9 DUKE shortly after purchasing K9 ANNIE from me, I told him duke is an amazing dog and that I had intentions on selling him right away because wasn't completely finished and I wanted to compete with him in PSA. over a few phone calls and pressure from Micheal I settled for 16,000 for a selling price. he was aware that dukes protection wasn't FINISHED. PLEASE REFFER TO MY PERSONAL PAGE FOR VIDEOS AND PICTURES OF ANY OF THESE K9'S. 3] I don't like how his clients spend lots of money on "protection dogs" and then get no training with the dog. dog training is 90% training the human and 10% training the dog. ANY DOG THAT I HAVE TRAINED FOR WOLFSBANE and was purchased from them I will honor my training promise, I will give FREE lessons to the clients until you feel confident in using the new tool you purchased. MY CONTACT INFORMATION IS 406-836-2271, CALL OR TEXT ANY TIME AND MY EMAIL IS LUCAS.LESOFSKI@GMAIL.COM 4] I'm utterly disgusted in the living conditions these amazing animals have to live in, I sold k9 duke to wolfsbane October 2017, he had the most amazing health and physical condition, November 2017 I was called and informed by Micheal s. wade that duke had become amemic and he was saying that duke would probably be euthanized. Duke had been on raw basically his entire life and was worked daily, then was put in another dogs run and fed cheap dog food, I've personally seen them cleaning dog bowls with a toilet brush. no kidding. of course I seen all of this after I sold my dogs to them. all of the dogs Micheal buys are from holland, he watches videos and see pictures and says thats a really special dog then buys it for 6-8,000 euro and ships them here to the states and sells them for 20+ thousand dollars. Micheal can't handle a dog, he can't train a dog, he can't catch a dog, personally the guy shouldn't be doing anything but breeding dogs, he does do that right because his puppies are fantastic. I have my own business now for training personal protection dogs at all levels, ever since I seen that family get attacked by Brett I felt compelled to say something, that dog had no business going to a family, this is the second home Brett has turned on, Micheal is afraid of that dog. my condolences . I'm a US. Army Combat Veteran, feel free to look me up and if you have any questions about the dogs I've trained for Wolfsbane I urge you to contact me, I will make it right with you. God bless, Luke read more

Our past dogs were Chows. Great dogs, while raising our kids. Time flies, kids grow up, and dogs pass. With no more kids to raise we needed something to do. We wanted a dog to fill that emptiness. We weren't sure what kind of dog we wanted. A lot of time was spent getting advice and checking out dogs/ breeders etc. We wanted an active dog, someone to play ball with, a protective dog, a shop-dog buddy, a family dog. My husband came across Wolfsbane K9 and explained what we desired of a dog. After several conversations my husband took a road trip to meet Michael and our now Bella, she is almost 2. The property was well maintained where the dogs were housed. You could tell a lot of time, love, dedication and training was given to each dog/puppy. Michael said Bella is special and indeed she is, because we definitely got what we asked for. He's a dog whisperer so to speak. Because if a dog and an owner can be twins it's definitely Bella and my husband ( they are inseparable, ask anyone). Michael picked the right puppy. She's smart, funny, and very quick, she's always up for a challenge. Michael has always been available before, during and well after we purchased our puppy to assist in any needs. His videos/ tips social media pages and websites or even a simple text or phone call are very helpful. Not a lot of people know much about this breed. To know this breed is to love this breed. So stop right here and look no further. Wolfsbane K9 is definitely the breeder/ trainer to stick with, their knowledge is extraordinaire. Michael and his team set high standards and strive very hard to maintain the quality and consistency in producing a healthy dog/puppy for the type their customers want. They are not just a puppy mill trying to push the dogs through to sell to just anyone. They listen, care and are dedicated. They form a bond with you well after the purchase of your dog/puppy. Michael does all these things and more, he gives back to his country by gifting the military with dogs for those in need. Everywhere we go we get lots of compliments on Bella. How well she is behaved or how beautiful she is, or where she came from, no one can resist that cute little face. It takes a good breeder a great trainer and owner to maintain that personality. Our day is full of life with her. She loves to dock dive, catch frisbees, fetch balls, steal blankets and socks. When it's club time she's definitely ready to work. The foundation they gave our puppy has made the rest of our work easy. She is definitely in a good place. Thank you Wolfsbane for blessing us with this gift, you definitely came through. We can't imagine life without her. We will be looking forward to another pup from them. read more

I purchased a Belgian Malinois puppy and the additional four weeks of training from Wolfsbane K9. I don't often leave reviews, but I wanted to let you know about my experience. I have owned many dogs in my life and I'm now in my 50's so I was looking for a dog that could keep up with my active lifestyle. Kona comes from the litter of Rebecca and Novak and she is the most incredible dog I have ever owned. She is friendly, protective, smart, loyal and playful. She gets along well with other dogs and people. At four months she knows: Sit, heel, down, climb, jump, protect, release, and is a master of the obstacle course I have setup. I'm constantly amazed at how quickly she picks up on things and that certainly doesn't reflect on my training skills but more so on the training she received at Wolfsbane K9 and her breeding. Bottom line - A great breeder/trainer, great puppies, and knowledgeable friendly owners who are there for you should you ever need them. Thank you Michael and Patricia you provided me with the best dog I have ever owned and loved. read more

The Belgian Malinois is the "super dog" of the canine world, and I have found this to be true in my own dog (although I did not get mine from Wolfsbane K9). In the same way that the Malinois sets the bar high, it appears Wolfsbane K9 sets the high bar for Malinois breeders and trainers. From reviewing their information online, I really like how Wolfsbane K9 seeks to maintain the high standard of this incredible breed. Their focus is placed in the quality, health, and intelligence of their K9's - producing high caliber protection dogs. Wolfsbane K9 is not simply working to push dogs through their program, but rather, they are committed to YOU - finding the perfect dog to meet the specific needs of you and your family. I am highly impressed with the honesty, clarity, and dedication displayed by Wolfsbane K9 through their various marketing outlets, and will continue to follow them closely as they demonstrate to the world just how incredible the Belgian Malinois breed can be! read more

This company boasts that they sell the best FAMILY protection dogs. They sold a dog that they state is 100% family safe. The dog is there for about a month and once he starts getting comfortable bites the new owner and his daughter. Michael Wade owner of Wolfsbane K9 says we offer a 100% satisfactions guarantee.....well my question to him is this....why would you not take the dog back and refund the owner his money? Why do you feel the need to say its his fault because he took the dog to a experienced trainer to work and bond with the dog. Maybe you sir should take a step back and look at yourself. You say that you test these dogs with children and do all this temperament testing.....Obviously you have no idea what your doing and need to stop endangering these families with dogs that are NOT family safe. Ph1 dogs belong in the hands of experienced people that know how these dogs work. read more

After careful research and conversations with those that had purchased from Wolfsbane K9 we contacted Michael regarding their breeding and training program. Michael spent a lot of time talking with my husband, carefully answering all his questions. In the short term, we plan to purchase a puppy for our family and later purchase a dog for our daughter when she graduates from high school and heads off to college. Michael went into great detail regarding the importance of pairing the right dog to the right family based on our needs and family dynamic. We have spoken with a number of other breeders and Michael was by far the most thorough and considerate of our needs. When it comes time to purchase our first dog it will undoubtedly be from Wolfsbane. read more

I have had my Wolfsbane K9 for 2 years now and Nanook is an amazing dog and great representation of his breed. I got him from the Cheetah and Director litter. When I was looking for my Mal pup the help I got from Wolfsbane was awesome. Michael called me and we spoke for a while about my possible new pup. I had looked at so many other kennels but was set on Wolfsbane! As a professional dog trainer my current Wolfsbane dog meets all my expectations. He is stable and social but excels in all the areas you would expect a Mal to. We do dock diving, agility, obedience, and we are in a PSA club. My next Mal will come from Wolfsbane because their dogs speak for themselves. -Shea Compton read more

I have not purchased from Wolfsbane but I have done some research on them. They have rave reviews from all over the United States. This alone is very impressive. I have personally met Mr. Webb and his wife they seem to be genuine people. They are not back yard breeders, they seem to maintain good house keeping, they make sure all pets are properly vetted. They are definitely breeding for the right reasons and believe in quality. At this point my goal is to own one of Wolfsbane's puppies as a companion, friend and family member in our household.....I know I couldn't go wrong with this choice read more

This kennel has some of the most beautiful pups I have ever seen. They are also very responsible in choosing forever homes for the puppies they breed. You must go through an interview process before they even consider you to place a puppy. Some people may find that annoying, however this is not a breed of dog for everyone and this kennel knows that and respects the breed. Can't wait to get my first puppy from them. I'm currently looking for a boyfriend for my female Mal and I cannot imagine any other kennel to get a beautiful little boy from! I'll be in touch soon Wolfsbane! read more

After the passing of my Belgian Malinois about 2 years ago, I decided to start looking again for my kids to grow up with, and to once again have the best type of dog I've ever known in my life. Maybe even have a good bird dog if the extra training takes. When I stumbled across Wolfsbane K9 I was very impressed with there love of Malinois and the the extra care they put into these dogs. We would be an extremely blessed family to have a pup like Klaus. So even if that's not the one, Wolfsbane K9 will be hopefully dealing with me soon for their top tier pedigree Belgians. read more

I found your Facebook page while searching for this breed. Both of your pages (Facebook and website) have helped educate me on this breed. I have not purchased from you yet, but I have plans to purchase in the near future. I really respect what you do to support veterans and this shows the repect you have. I have also read how you treat your clients after they have purchased one of your mals. This is also a plus for owners who make an investment by purchasing a Wolfsbane K9. I'm excited about the day I can say I'm a proud owner of one of your K9's. Keep up th good work, read more

This kennel has an amazing caring owner. They truly care about the wellbeing and integrity of the breed. I cannot wait to get my first puppy from them and I look forward to going through the process. They have enough love and respect for the puppies that they don't go to just anyone because you have to first go through an interview process and application to even be considered. This is not the breed for the novice handler and Wolfsbane understand that. I have the utmost respect and admiration for this kennel and I hope to find a beautiful baby boy through them. read more

I had the opportunity to speak with Michael regarding our intent to purchase a dog for our daughter. I explained that I was not ready to purchase at this point but would be interested in a few years. Michael spent 45 minutes on the phone, answering all my questions in detail and walking me through his operation. Michael really cares about his dogs and that the right dog is matched to the right family for them. I will certainly be contacting him once we are ready to move forward and can't imagine working with anyone else. Bill M. read more

I only know of Wolfsbane K9 from Facebook but with that being said they have lots of great content on their Facebook page to aid in training your adult dog or puppy. If you are bringing up a working pup or purchasing a green dog I'd definitely give them a like and follow on Facebook to gain some useful tips. It seems like they really enjoy their animals and dedicate their time to working with them consistently up until they leave to provide the most well rounded puppy for the selected buyers. read more

I am currently awaiting a puppy from this breeder! I am a dog trainer myself, looking for a dog to compete in dog sports with, and Wolfsbane K9 is where my search had brought me. With an outstanding amount of knowledge about the breed and training, and too blood lines, this is where I want my dog from. Balanced, driven, and well trained Mals are not easy to come by. The discounts given to veterans is an even bigger plus. I can't wait to own one of these pups. read more

These are my dream dogs and I can't wait to own one. They have the most impressive blood lines and produce incredible working dogs. My intention is to get a baby boy and train him in personal protection. They have impressed me with the caliber of dogs they produce strikingly beautiful colors. They take responsible ownership to the highest levels by having potential puppy parents go through an interview process. Can't wait to own my first Wolfsbane K9 read more

Wolfsbane K9 is an amazing kennel. The amount of time and effort they put in placing their pups in the best possible homes for both owner and puppy is amazing. They take in mind the puppy's personality and drive when placing them in a home so they can have the best possible fit with their new partner. They are very knowledgeable and very caring breeders who are making the breed better every litter. read more
