For those that are members or want to do a day pass they also have an indoor pool and splash pad play area. The splash pad is fun but the individuals they choose to monitor it really deter from the whole experience. The other weekend we were there and my daughter and two friends were playing Barbie's and decided to wet their hair. No throwing them or anything wild just wet their hair. A woman first approached one of the girls (a 5 year old) and sternly told her that was not allowed. Which in and of itself was not acceptable. Kids being kids they went again to wet Barbie's hair and along came the same woman, only this time she confronted the mom. The mom said she'd stop it and asked the woman if in the future she would not address issue directly with her child rather come directly to her. She pointed out the tone of the woman voice used ti speak to children to which the woman stood there and begun confronting the mom. Stating repeatedly this is my voice and I'm not shouting. We all stayed calm and simply asked her to walk away. She repeated herself a few more times before walking back to her chair. All that being said, apart from the overwatch at the splash pad it is a fun place to take the kiddos.

Trial class scared the child as there were no accommodations to welcome or educate on the routine. Fear developed quickly so a second attempt a week later was scheduled in hopes it was an anomaly but it wasn't. Things went from bad to worse. Office staff wanted to charge us as a second trial visit which was fine but they were ignoring the trauma in development and the submitted paperwork of enrollment (showing clear commitment but reticent due to 3 yr old reaction. We got through that, then there was the inflexibly and insensitive approach yet again as our daughter walked into the gym space. Less than 5 minutes and tears were like a river!!! We tried to dork out an option to arrive 15 minutes early in hopes to get a "show and tell" of the environment but the front desk were so closed minded even that wasn't an option. There is a tiny parking lot in one corner. There is a tiny fence all around the place, but I'd recommend not playing ball with kids in the park if they kick it a long way with the roads so close-by. It's a nice place for adults or walking the dog. For the kids, I'd recommend going down the Hill to Veteran's Park a.k.a. The Riverwalk.
