My Brain n Complex Neurosurgeon kept insisting I needed a Rheumatologist Enter who was (Dollars for Docs Cooper)who pushed Humira where she made her DFD$$$.Seemed damned angry when the DFD HUMIRA did nothing as I continued to hurt like hell. Did have a very nice either NPor PA, pretty & personable.Dr Kamath told me the very same thing again, so enter 3rd Rheumatoid doctor, was told they never saw Coopers requested records, but nothing was done. Back to Kamath post spinal stimulator removal & total spinal column stimulator showed nothing for my age, once again said he continued to recommend finding the right Rheumatoid specialist . I did trust the previous one I'd seen & I was in this full blown body inflammatory state hurting all over. Im now on Cimzia & feel like she truly cares, the one before her always seemed an inch away from blowing right up & exploding, as she constantly pushed her fingers through her moppy hair hanging in her face so unprofessional like hair. I can only imagine a dear husband at home taking care of the horses just not quite good enough & the ranch as well. What a joy Never measuring up. I'm only speculating. But had a different drug been trie say A TOO LONG WAY FOR ME, THIS Treatment could have been started a long time back. Sorry but he lacked personality & expertise. Working where he does should have rung the first bell. When you've hurt this long without a definite solution is harrowing. I've changed Pain Management Drs once in Frisco that tried doing unnecessary surgery on me then told me I tested + for Xanax. I was on Clonazepam so a Benzo is a Benzo. Dishonest but great in everything else? My Complex neurosurgeon caught that one. Reviewing how he wrote out the reason req surgery. Now losing my fantastic PCP Family Practice claims none of their PCP accepting new pts. I'd call this a Train Wreck not to drag in pain issues & such. All I need a PCP for is a physical & refills on non controlled Rx? Not just anyone though like this one & he's not PCP.Bet he graduated low in his class. Enufs enough.

The office staff told us that they would be calling us to make an appointment for the beginning of the following week. No call... waited one more day and still no word from the office. Monday morning comes around and I finally give up waiting so I call them to see if an appointment has been made. They proceed to tell me that they had already made an appointment for the following day 3:30 in the afternoon. Guess nobody was going to call to let me know... So we arrive to the appointment 15 minuets before the appointment like they had asked. 15 past the hour, 30, 45 and hour since our scheduled appointment still no word to see Dr. Hames. Mind you our boys are 2 and 4 so not a whole lot of patience there... Finally 4:10 rolls around and we are called to see the Dr. Hames. Of course the nurse comes in and tells you that the doctor will be right in and again another 30 minutes goes by and still no sign of Dr. Hames. With two very frustrated children I had to make the decision to walk out and the nurses said that the doctor should be in in the next 30 minutes. I said, "No, we have been waiting patiently for almost 2 hours to be seen by the doctor and we're leaving now." Not one person apologized during this visit nor were we ever informed that Dr. Hames was running behind. Then the receptionist wants to book an appointment for the following week to put a cast on for my sons fractured tibia!!! I finally had enough and said, "no we've been waiting here long enough, we will be here first thing in the morning tomorrow. We will no longer be using this office nor will we be referring anyone there!!!

He makes sure the job is done and done right. I also see Dr. Micheal Hames. He specializes in feet only. 16 years ago I saw Dr. Ruyle. He did surgery on my right ankle. He messed it up so bad, I ended up getting a very rare disease called RSD. No cure for it. It caused so much nerve damage I was in tremendous pain for 16 yrs. All Drs. Here and Dallas ones would not touch it because of the situation. After all of these years, Dr. Hames came and he is the only Dr. who attempted to try and give me some relief. July of 2017 he went in and found a cyst and cut it off and birdied the nerve. June of 2018, he went back in bc I was still having problems. He cut and buried 2 more nerves. 60% of my pain is now gone. Thank you Dr. Hames, you are the best..

I have been a patient of Dr. Kissi Blackwell for several years now, and I truly cannot say enough…read morewonderful things about her and her nurse, Jennifer. From the moment you walk into the office, they are both incredibly welcoming and kind, which immediately puts you at ease. What I appreciate most about Dr. Blackwell is that she genuinely takes the time to listen. Appointments never feel rushed, and she always takes the time to do thorough consultations and discuss what is actually necessary for your care. It's refreshing to have a doctor who focuses on what's truly best for the patient rather than recommending unnecessary treatments. The Primary Direct Care model has been absolutely amazing as well. Being able to reach out to your doctor when you have questions instead of having to schedule an appointment for every little concern is such a huge benefit. It really feels like you have a doctor who is accessible and truly invested in your well-being. One experience that really showed me how much Dr. Blackwell cares happened last year when I had a serious cat bite. I had gone to the emergency room multiple times and kept being sent home without proper treatment. Dr. Blackwell stepped in, personally called the hospital, and spoke directly with the doctor on duty to explain the situation and the risks involved. Because of her advocacy, the situation was finally taken seriously. That level of care and dedication is something you just don't see very often. Dr. Blackwell goes above and beyond for her patients, and it is such a blessing to have a doctor who truly cares. I am incredibly grateful to be under her care and highly recommend her and her team to anyone looking for a compassionate, attentive physician.
