I detest the Brookwood Sainsburys with a passion! It should be so good but fails on almost every…read morepoint apart from parking! The car park is large with a decent number of special spaces. There are always trolleys available although they are often wet from the rain as there is insufficient cover for them. The store operates a self scan system if that is your thing although often it doesn't work and the queues at the special tills are often longer than the regular tills. Fruit and veg never seems to last long from here even compared to the much cheaper offerings from Morrisons. Pricewise it compares to Waitrose but there's no comparison in quality! There is an ever-shrinking fresh meat section and it often looks poor. The butcher counter is also small and rarely has much on it to tempt. My biggest grip here though is that I can rarely do a complete shop here and it's not because I want odd items. I've lost count of the number of times they've been out of stock of basics such as fresh milk, eggs, bread or chicken breasts. The queues are always long in here although the staff are quite pleasant. Good for a late night chemist. There is a cafe and toilets, both reasonaly clean.

The Woking Hospice shop in Knaphill is the Hospice's specialist furniture shop. You'll find 3 piece…read moresuites, chairs, tables, wardrobes and other items of large furniture for sale, together with selected art work, lamps and other hard furnishings. There's also a spattering of clothes, adult books and bric-a-brac. The shop is worth a browse if you're into period furniture or if you just want a spare table for a room or a bit of kids furniture. The stock changes fairly regularly. If you've something to get rid of then you can call (01483 799711) and collection of larger items can be arranged. Staff are very helpful but do remember, they are all volunteers! This is probably not a shop you'd visit unless you wanted an item of furniture or other furnishings but it's well worth a look if you did!
