Filled with countless eateries and shops, including the fantastic Yo My Goodness, this area a must see for those visiting the Peninsula. Anyway, back to Yo My Goodness. This burger spot is awesome! We shared the Yo My With Cheese, which is their signature burger, and the 12th Hour, which is slow cooked pulled pork, asian slaw, and basil mayo. Both were divine! They have a large selection of milkshakes, fries/curly fries/onion rings, and their burger meat is 100% grass fed quality Aussie angus beef. 5 Stars for YOMG!

In addition, the dance remixes of top 40 hits playing in the background made me think I was at a day club. My friend and I shared a Yo My With Cheese and a Bergerk. I thought the beef and chicken could have been more juicy (the chicken in particular was a little dry around the edges), but overall, no complaints. They were decent, but I wouldn't go out of my way for them. What I would recommend and go back for is the red velvet shake - it was absolutely divine, and definitely hit a home run for me. I think the mascarpone gave it that thick consistency and cheesy sweet taste, and I loved the crunchy oreo. Amazing combination! I also had a taste of the chocolate cake froyo and it was super decadent. So my 2 cents on this place is, go for the shakes, froyo and dancey vibes!

4.1 Milkbar & Co is…read morea 4.1 in my book. It is agreeably fitted out in the modern style. This is apparently the result of a recent renovation which has been thoughtfully and tastefully executed. The style is good but is in no sense overdone. It feels and is pleasant. It helps the mood too that good music was playing as well when we arrived. The food was great. My beef brisket burrito was recommended by our server. This was a very sound recommendation because it's a cracking dish. It's a really good thoughtful brekkie brunch dish and one that'd be very at home st any of the well rated Melbourne brunch cafes. I could barely fault it. It had just the right amount of good flavoursome meat. This was accompanied by Perfect melted cheese and great black beans. The salsa was a beauty too. Finely chopped and very flavoursome as well with even some carefully chargrilled corn. Only the bed of rocket seemed a bit rough and ready and even then my judgement might be a bit harsh. I was worried the dish might be too small when it first arrived but again I was wrong as the size ended up being spot on. There was a slight understated spice to the dish which I thought was lovely. Sadly I didn't get the chance to make enquiries about that. This was the best of this style of dish that I've had for quite a while. It really was very nicely composed and beautifully made and cooked. It had me slightly in awe actually and I'd have great trouble ordering anything else if and when I come here again. My partner had the ham cheese baguette which she enjoyed very much. She was particularly taken with the bread which were were advised came from Laurent. Our coffees to finish were excellent too. Up there with the best. So why is this place not rated higher? We can only speculate but we did find the service here a bit languid. We had to chase a server to put an initial order in. My dish was put down roughly in front me of dislodging some of the carefully arranged garnish. My milk in a jug with my coffee had little blacks things in it too. None of this is serious stuff. I gained an impression that there were a few details holding things back. We will definitely come here again. If they iron a few of the little details out, this place could easily score more than 4.

If I ever go back to Australia again, I am 100% certain I will come back here. The maple Canadian bacon alone is worth the trip to this small cafe. As an American, I definitely cannot go back to eating the bacon we have there after I've this. I hope that many more people will be able to find out about this small eatery because it's totally worth it.

We chose to split a salad, the bread and olives, and a pizza. While I like veggie pizza, husband likes meaty pizza so we asked if they could do a half and half. While they said, they don't usually do that, they made an exception for us. We love that focus on the customer and appreciate the accommodation. All the food was excellent. We were debating about all three salads and our server suggested the one we got and we were not disappointed. Such a nice light dressing and lots of veggies. For dessert, we had the affogato. I love that dessert. So simple but delicious. Husband hates coffee and loves ice cream. I love both so works for both of us.

It was a fairly large restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. Decor was nice with an unusual display of motorcycle outfits mounted to the walls. We were promptly seated and asked a couple times by different staff if we were ready to order. It seemed like there was a lack of coordination. However, after placing our order it did take awhile to flag a waiter's attention to get water refills and later one to go box for leftovers. In general the pastas were good in size but a bit lacking in flavors and seasoning. The bolognese and arrabiatta tasted about the same. The chicken risotto was watery instead of creamy. The romana pizza turned out to be the best of all the dishes we tried that night. At the end of the meal, we paid at the counter in front.
