Not even worth one star. Absolutely no support to the…read moretenants. Complaints and requests for assistance or repairs are ignored. issues at the property were not dealt with at all in some cases. They don't acknowledge or reply to messages and emails and are rude. Customer service zero. Parents of students and students you will get no support or assistance from these people.

Their customer service skills are atrocious and they obviously didn't care about our happiness, only about how much money they could squeeze out of us. They tricked us into paying a £100 reference fee at the beginning and cheated us into paying hundreds of pounds from our deposit once we had moved out. Avoid Alexanders at all costs, I would highly recommend MS Properties who always went out of their way to make sure we were happy. I also know many people that have had good experiences with Phillip Evans and Padarn, Aberystwyth has no shortage of Estate Agencies, there's no reason you should have to deal with Alexanders.

They seem to be very much orientated around the landlords and tenants are less of a priority. We've lived in one of their properties for a little over a year, 7 months of which we have had to live with a split bath with water running through the kitchen ceiling and down the wall. After numerous requests to have the problem fixed it still remains. We have kept our side of the bargain, paying the rent on time and looking after the house but we have been, and still are being, let down by 1 Stop Lettings and in particular Eirian, the owner, who constantly makes excuses or tells us the work will get 'done this week' but nothing happens. My advice would be stay away from 1 Stop Lettings and go with one of the more established letting agents in Aberystwyth like Lloyd, Herbert and Jones who, compared, are excellent.

They were always there to help me with any issue I had, they resolved every time any problem I faced with the flats. They are an agency that contacts their business professionally, honor their word and at the same time they show understanding and kindness. Both times they have returned my deposit and they have helped me in numerous ways although they didn't really have to. I highly recommended them especially for the students since I considered them honest and trustworthy. Thank you for everything Philips Evans .
