Lüneburg is very charmful and the market in the middle of the old part of the city Altstadt just added some authenticity to this amazing city.

Even managed to find some chanterelle mushrooms from Poland even though they are not in season, which I am going to scramble into an omelette tomorrow. There was a shop selling upcycled leather goods and different furs as well and meat from Scottish Highland cattle, a lot of organic produce. So many trucks and I could have spent all day looking at their wares and tasting their wonderful offerings! Parking is difficult to find though.

I try to go there 1 time in the week, on saturday to have fresh vegetables. As a french, I miss a good cheese saler and a wine saler in this market, what could be also good it's a torrefactor saler, fresh coffee to buy, and a konditorei, or something with cup cake Ideas. When i go to a market I mostly compare with I loved in france, in rennes they have one of the best. Of course I'm in germany so I expect to have german product, but I think some creative food could find their place in this market. Price is high, like you expect for this kind of market, but food is fresh and great.
