We arrived around 8am on a Sunday and stayed until closing at 9:30. The area was full of vendors with apparel, souvenirs, handmade German items, fresh fish, treats, veggies, fruits, and more. I enjoyed having a smoked salmon fish sandwich for breakfast. Highly recommend this on the water experience.

You can expect a fruit&veg, cheese, pies & Co., flowers, bread & cakes, plus others, and saving the best to last of course a sausage & chips stand. I must recommend this place and the service is great and the food too! Prices are normal for a market in Hamburg (Currywurst Pommes EUR4). This market is relatively new, I believe at the start of this year they started it up. Of course very popular once more from the worker bee's from around the area. I was shopping in the AEZ and stopped by Gosch for lunch. I love seafood and decided to go for the baked potato with shrimp. The shrimp was delicious and plentiful, but the "sour cream" was awful. In fact it was not sour cream as I know it instead it was sour cream made from mayonnaise, thus was so fatty and completely overshadowed the taste of the potato and shrimp (and gave me a stomach ache since I am no good with foods that are too fatty). So, I guess I would give Gosch another try, since most people seem to like it, but I would not recommend ordering the baked potato or any other meal with sour cream. In fact I am hesitant to try any of their dished that include any sort of sauce.
