If I were in a position considering hiring them, I would check that the contract gives some type of refund for missed pick ups. I think that they are understaffed for the contracts to which they have obligated themselves. It looks like each time there is a holiday and possibly times one driver is sick, they cannot meet their obligations. Our condo assn uses this company (at least their trucks are marked this name) after they acquired our previous company. Drivers are courteous on our narrow streets, but the company frequently misses pick ups for both trash and recycling. This problem is far worse around any holiday. We are contracted for two trash and one recycling pick up per week. This week around Labor Day, so far, they have missed two trash and one recycling pick ups. Garbage was overflowing from both sides and top to the point the side doors would not open and the top lid lifted up. And the smell in late August is atrocious, as are the ensuing insect swarms. I dread upcoming Thanksgiving and later holidays. Living on one of the upper floors means I need to bring trash down to dumpster and back up again when there is no space in the dumpsters for the trash. This week, I have tried five days in a row to take out my trash. The last two days of this, our property manager has sent emails that trash would be picked up by 3 pm that day. That did not happen and the recycling dumpster is still overflowing. read more

This company is so awful. Despite months of delays, no pick ups, and high fees. They will suspend your account over a $20 outstanding fee. And then charge you to resume services. THEY ARE HORRIBLE read more

Their service agreements are worse than those written by Satan. They looped into a 3-year agreement that automatically renewed itself. No one told us our agreement would automatically INCREASE EVERY year. No one advised us about any of the dirty little secrets that are STANDARD in their agreements. *OVER-PRICED* *Automatic INCREASES EVERY YEAR* *AUTOMATIC roll-over at the end of EVERY term* Talk to the saleslady at Cockeys-she helped save us a ton! read more

We pay our bill - in full - on time - every time. You'd think we could get the service we paid for?! 3 out of the 4 scheduled pick ups have been missed. When we call in, they say the driver reports the garbage wasn't left out -- BS! We put it out the night before! I've spent nearly 2 hours on the phone trying to get this resolved thus far. We are looking else where - I suggest you do the same. (This is a review on services we are suppose to receive at our home in Maryland.) read more

There are 2 WM sites near me and I have no way of knowing which one services me. The bill goes to Philly and the HQ is in Arizona. This whole operation is managed remotely as far as the business end. The actual trash collectors must be local and I have not had a problem with that service. It is the billing that kills. They bait you in at a low price and it hikes up REAL fast. They subtly mention 'added fees' and they nickel and dime you TO. DEATH. with unknown fees. I signed up for quarterly billing and I keep getting billed in between quarterly bills with additional fees. Bills on top of bill and fees on top of fees, and they are THE most expensive trash collectors around to begin with. Looking elsewhere. read more

Waste Management is one of the worse companies I have ever deal with I been in business for a very long time been dealing with different vendors. Waste Management gives you a contract that you can never get out of. They will raise the prices without telling you. never get waste management for trash pick up rather pay double then dealing with them ever again. read more

Absolute bullshit of a company, they automatically extend your contract without contacting you, and they can change their pricing without contacting you also. they want me to pay $30 dollars a month to rent a trash can, thats $360 a year. i can buy 20 of them for that. never do business with ever again. need to get attorney involved just to get out of contract.only out to screw the customer. beware read more

BE CAREFUL! We signed a contract 6 years ago which we believe to be a one year contract and did not read the fine print (yes, we are to blame but trying to help someone else out). Unbeknownst to us, the contract automatically renewed annually at the terms of the original one year contact. We are in the process of moving our business and sent our certified letter in to cancel service, we received a letter stating that we "terminated service PRIOR TO the termination date" and were charged a $640.20 early terminate fee. You must request termination of services 60 days prior to your anniversary date and by certified mail or you are stuck with them for another year! Additionally, this company has doubled our monthly fees, without notice or explanation, over the passed 6 years. Look elsewhere for a trash pick-up company!! read more

Worst customer service ever. I'm a property manager and they change your pickup days for their convenience. When you call, they say they will try to get a driver to you but can not guarantee it. This is unacceptable! read more
