WLNE, the Providence market ABC affiliate, is a good station for its ABC programs and it has a news…read morestaff that does their best in coverage of news for RI and Southeast MA. It is not very flashy but their news staff delivers the news in a professional manner. Their weather team has won several awards and is great, as is their sports team. Because of past signal issues when it was broadcasting in analog, the station got a reputation as being low rate, but the station's signal improved considerably when it started digital broadcasting and new owners took over the station in 2011. And the management and staff is responsive to viewers concerns.
