The employee said I could just leave the keys but being influenced by what I read I insisted on a check. So we went to check. The parking is 30 seconds walk from the airport building. Checked, all fine :) Minus 1 star - they never pick up the phone listed on the Wroclaw Airport page on Europcar website, called a few times. Had stressful moments trying to find the parking in the Wroclaw airport. Overall recommended, will definitely go with them again next time I'm in Poland.

We get to the parking lot, inspect car and see nothing worthy of note. At dropoff, different agent points to two almost imperceptible scratches on the wheel and claims that they charge for anything that is 2 cm or more. She is now charging my credit card 2,000! I have rented from Avis hundreds of times before this and never experienced anything like this. What disgusting business practices they employ here.

The other 2 locations met expectations. This location exceeded my expectations. The young man who served us was extremely professional and personable. He explained the contract thoroughly yet quickly, focusing on key points in the contract and concerning driving in Poland. He came out and inspected the car, making sure all was well - including the language settings of the gadgetry. We left feeling at-ease and very well-served. His fine work earned this location 5 stars from us. We picked up the car Aug 17, 2017, and returned it in Krakow on Aug 19.

Wroclaw Glowny is your doorway to the rest of Poland. I was in and out of this train station a number of times either coming from Warsaw, heading to Walbrzych or traveling to Poznan. Signage is well displayed. Lines are generally quick moving. Audio announcements are easy to hear though their English translations leave a little to be desired in terms of pronunciation!

The tour, almost 2 hours long, covers a wide variety of areas and history: from the details of the Market Square, Ratuja and their respective histories, to the Jewish area, the Quarter of the Four Denominations; to the funky artsy murals you will never find on your own; through the winding streets heading to the beautiful architecture of the University, and the surprising, lovely, peaceful garden of the museum and library [hint: there is an indoor garden that is just as large as the outside one, but it was closed on the 11/11 holiday], to the sidewalk with the centuries-long history of Wroclaw displayed in plaques, imbedded into the walkway, eventually crossing the river Odra to the Cathedral Isle. CONS: - Unreliable Wi-Fi. There were several Leoapart networks, all were low datarate, and all would become unpredictably unusable, often simultaneously. - We reserved over 6 months early, and during email exchange were told we had Cape Town Room. However, when we arrived we were assigned to La Paz Room, and when we showed the receptionist the email about the Cape Town Room, she said the person who had sent the email had left the firm and that nothing could be done. Since we were only 2 people and were staying only 2 days and spent little time at apt, that was ok. But the La Paz room seemed much less desirable than the Cape Town. - No shower curtain, by design. Semi-circular tub with shower and a seat, so it was easy to get by without a curtain. Not a big deal.
