I returned a car at WRO Airport in Poland today. It is a complete rip-off. At pickup, they tell me the car is fine and only to take pictures of significant damage or large scratches. We get to the parking lot, inspect car and see nothing worthy of note. At dropoff, different agent points to two almost imperceptible scratches on the wheel and claims that they charge for anything that is 2 cm or more. She is now charging my credit card 2,000! I have rented from Avis hundreds of times before this and never experienced anything like this. What disgusting business practices they employ here. read more

During a recent trip to Europe I rented 3 cars from 2 companies, in different locations. (2 Avis locations, and the other was another large rental company). The other 2 locations met expectations. This location exceeded my expectations. The young man who served us was extremely professional and personable. He explained the contract thoroughly yet quickly, focusing on key points in the contract and concerning driving in Poland. He came out and inspected the car, making sure all was well - including the language settings of the gadgetry. We left feeling at-ease and very well-served. His fine work earned this location 5 stars from us. We picked up the car Aug 17, 2017, and returned it in Krakow on Aug 19. read more
