Book a trip through wizfair for the first time, got a confirmation email but was unable to connect or pull up my info on the airlines site, the airline couldn't find my info, for several days I kept calling and kept getting the run around I eventually got this guy on the line, he was empathetic even with me threatening to call the AG. His name was Paul Wilson, he promised to resolve my issues and get back to me I didn't have much faith at that point. An hour or 2 later I received a phone call from Paul, informing me the he fixed the problem and the I can go ahead and check with the airline while he waited on the line, I was very pleased to say the least, he kept his word and resolved the problem. Thank you Paul Willson, I am ever so grateful!! read more

FRAUD! I booked a flight through Wizfair as they were the lowest price option on google flight. Not only did they FAIL to obtain the plane tickets at the advertised price (notified us hours after I made booking, status stuck on Processing then failed) They also processed a fraudulent Walmart.com charge on my credit card. I know it's Wizfair who did this because I haven't used that credit card for anything else for a while, not do I shop walmart.com read more

Extremely Disappointing Experience -- Buyer Beware I had a very frustrating experience with this travel agency. I was told that they wait until the last minute to finalize/book certain parts of the trip in order to supposedly get the best possible price. However, as the customer, you never see any of those savings reflected in what you actually pay. To make matters worse, I was assigned middle seats, which appeared to leave me with no reasonable option other than paying additional money to upgrade my seats. There were also errors with my airline information, including an incorrect date of birth that had to be corrected separately with the airline. Even getting the correct confirmation information was unnecessarily difficult. I was initially given an incorrect confirmation code and had to contact the agency to figure out what was going on. It took multiple calls--two or three times--before I could get clear answers and the correct information. The entire process created unnecessary stress and extra work for me as the customer. A travel agency should make traveling easier, not leave customers chasing down confirmation numbers, correcting basic passenger information, dealing with poor seat assignments, and potentially paying more to fix issues they did not create. I would strongly recommend carefully reviewing every detail of your reservation immediately after booking and confirming directly with the airline that all passenger information, flight details, seats, and confirmation numbers are correct. read more

I initially wanted to cancel my booking due to previous bad experience. I called back and Gary Collins was the right person. He helped me change travel date, with another airline with very reasonable fee. He was very knowledgeable, efficient, polite and honest. Thanks you for an employee who cares of what they do. read more

Daikho was very patient and helpful with adding assistant services to both my grandpa who has trouble walking and my uncle who is disabled. I was a little disappointed that the large check in bags were not included for the round trip just for the departure only. However, Daikho worked with me into getting that added for small price. 10/10 for his customer service and communication skills. read more

Booking was easy but not quite straightforward. I booked with Alaska Airlines and didn't know the purchase was for standby seating. once I got to Alaska Airlines to lock in seating, I had to pay an extra $400 just for regular main cabin seats. something to definitely consider before booking here. but this is my first time flying with Alaska so this may be typical of them. read more

unfortunately for me, I used Wizfair because they were recommended by Skyscanner. Save yourself the stress of a last minute flight cancellation and use a different travel agency. I notified them twice that the confirmation number and ticket numbers given to me by Wizfair were not valid On the ANA website. They twice stated that the direct flight from Washington DC to Tokyo was good. - until they could not issue the boarding pass. instead of owning up to their mistake, and buying a new ticket on the original flight, they booked me on an alternative flight with different airports, less attractive departure times, and a 5 hour layover in Toronto. Customer service from India will go around in circles wasting your time until you give up trying to make sense of what happened. read more

For the few dollars you save, it just isn't worth using this site. I did by mistake and didn't notice until I saw that even using my airline card, the checked baggage was not free, as the airline would have been. So I rebooked through the airline itself, and then when I went to cancel, I was put on "hold" for 10 minutes while the agent (Andy) had to check it out before he could finalize my cancellation. He had an accent and was difficult to understand. He kept having excuses for keep me on hold. Said he'd send an email and I could cancel, but finally did. He said it would take 7-10 days to get to the bank. I finally received the email he sent, and then the next morning had another (very obscure) email with a "required" response of "I agree" to the questions "Do you want to cancel this reservation?" The name "Wizfair" only appreared in small print on the bottom of that email Would have been easy to miss, then I would have missed my 24 our refundable period. The entire cancellation process took over 15 minutes by phone. No email cancellation options exist. I believe this is a fraudulent site, because they make it very difficult to cancel any reservations within the 24hour refund period. Avoid at all costs! read more

They solved the problem with my ticket. Initially ticket price was lower but they adjusted it over the phone.

Made a reservation. Got issued the ticket number and it looks like it's a valid ticket. HOWEVER, I had two charges of $700 and one charge of $900 on this card that were unauthorized. I know it had to be Wizfair that tried to rip me off. I didn't use this card anywhere else. Wish I would have come here first. I was going by other reviews I gave it four stars read more

I strongly advise travelers to exercise extreme caution before booking with Wizfair Travel. While they are technically a legitimate agency that issues tickets, their business model appears to rely heavily on aggressive sales tactics and lack of transparency. Based on my experience, here is what you can expect: The Bait-and-Switch: They frequently advertise "unbeatable" low fares to get you to book. Shortly after, you'll likely receive a call or email claiming the fare is "no longer available" and demanding significantly more money to secure the ticket. The "Call to Confirm" Trap: You may get a "Booking Reference" that isn't actually a confirmed ticket. Until you have a 13-digit ticket number, you don't actually have a seat, which gives them leverage to hike the price. Hidden Fees & Poor Support: If you need to change or cancel, be prepared for exorbitant fees (often $200-$300+) that aren't clearly disclosed. They often play the "blame game" with the airline, leaving you stuck in the middle. Don't be fooled by high ratings on other platforms; many of those reviews are solicited immediately after booking before the traveler actually encounters any issues. Save yourself the stress and the "customer service hurdles"--book directly with the airline or a more reputable agency. read more

I found that Wizfair was very agressive and it was very tricky in allowing me to thinking that I was dealing directly with Alaska Air when making a booking. They charged me a steep seat charge which Alaska Air does not charge. I would strongly decide not to use this agency in any of your dealings. They are not to be trusted. read more

Needed a same-day ticket from Portland to Palm Springs. Called the wrong number and didn't realize that I wasn't speaking directly with the airline. Was charged $308.29 by United and $450 by Wizair -- just for booking the plane ticket. I knew same-day travel was expensive, and I was responding to a medical emergency, so I fell for it. So sad that I was dealing with such a shady company. Yes, I did okay the cost via email, but there was no breakdown of charges. read more

Do not buy Flex Fare on tickets on WizFair. It means nothing in terms of guaranteeing flexibility in your travel, as the airline you are is the ultimate arbitrar if you want to change the ticket. I bought an Alaska ticket through them, added Flex Fair, thinking I might have to change my flight. When I did call WizFair to change the ticket, they said Alaska would have to determine whether I could make the change. Alaska said no. So the extra $50.00 I gave WizFair for this "privelage," was ultimately denied. WizFair says in it's fine print that it only guarantees changing the ticket if the airline approves. You are basically buying nothing from them -- it is not like buying FlexFare direct from the airline, which would be a guarantee. WizFair would not give me any money back. A complete ripoff. read more

Wizfair travels is terrible. Horrible customer service. Purchased an upgrade for tickets to Hawaii to ensure my wife and I sat together on our 33rd anniversary trip to Hawaii. You guessed it, we were separated on our flight home. AVOID! Fraud charges totalling $2000+ dollars appeared on my card. The following online stores all appeared on my card, Cyber Couture, Covee Catalyst, The Gifting Haven, Lumanova Labs, Novashop FMCG, Heratage Leather Co, Websellera.com, Pesowac Lswacks LLC, and Jonathan Prese. Check your card activity regularly, hope this never happens to you. read more

SCAM! Fraud charges on my credit card. Several months after I booked a flight through their website, I got fraud alert from my credit card company about a random $100 charge made on a sports gambling site. Wizfair was the only place I used this specific credit card at. AVOID! read more

This company is a scam! Be careful and stay away from them. Thankfully, my credit card canceled the transaction. However, an agent from the air travel company was calling me insistently. This is not a reliable company; it's fake, including the 5-star rate displayed online. read more

I booked through them and my flight was stuck processing (was not charged, I got lucky something messed up). I did some deeper information in between and saw lots of red flags. When I called them to inquire about my ticket they wanted me to input my card info into a sketchy link (which I did not do). I hung up, changed my credit card number and booked through a different site. Definitely a scam don't book through them read more
