I always fortify myself here before I am dragged into KaDeWe. Tasty, tasty, tasty! But not cheap. Pommes mit Mayo - EUR3.20. But organic! Currywurst - EUR3. But organic. There is usually a line here, even on rainy days. And you can't rush quality. read more

Not much too much to look at from the outside, small place but the food is EXCELLENT! It's all organic, including the beer and wine, simple curry wursts and pommes! But the spicy fried onions with red pepper took it to another level! read more

We were unfamiliar with the area so we headed here because of its proximity to the train station and to KaDeWe and the shopping area. I'm not sure what they meant by organic but I didn't find that this tasted noticeably better or worse than the currywurst and bratwurst we had elsewhere during our trip. I didn't really love the way that the sausage came presliced. There are little wooden skewers you can use to eat it but they're not that effective. I found both the currywurst and bratwurst to be a little salty but otherwise pretty standard. I guess it's because it was "organic" but the food and drinks were a little overpriced. There was nowhere to sit so we stood at the high tables they had set up in front of their stand, which was not really ideal given how windy it was. I wouldn't recommend that anyone go out of their way to come here but if you are in the area and you put stock in their claims of "organic" food, then sure, stop by. read more

Really good curry wurst. The only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars was the bizarre number of beggars who either accosted diners or dug through trash cans while people were eating. That was a little uncomfortable. Don't know if it's always the case though. But the food was great. read more

A yummy bite of berlin's culture... this Imbiss has a typical "berlin cafe culture" atmosphere one of the things i love most about this city and it combines great traditional german food with the modern trend of being organic... its great!!! i can have my cake and eat it too because i know all of my food is reliably sourced :-) Its a great snapshot of the cosmopolitan berlin today, epitomizing life in berlin - tradition and history along side modern trends and fashion. Thats not all you can be sure you will always be greeted with a smile and it is some of the best customer service i have experienced in the whole of Germany. Wegen einer "Filmübung", habe ich bei Wittys einen ganzen Nachmittag verbringen dürfen und habe den Laden so auch "hinter den Kulissen" kennenlernen dürften : Alles sauber, alles top. Die Würstchen schmecken super! Yiammi. Ganz zu schweigen vom Konzept natürlich... Bio-Wurst ist einfach toll. Das beste an dem Laden sind jedoch seine Mitarbeiter. Davon hat der 3-Minuten-Würstchen-Essen vielleicht weniger, aber sollte man doch mal etwas mehr Zeit dort verbringen, kann man mit sehr sympathischen und aufgeschlossene Menschen hinter dem Tresen schnacken. Seit 1984 eine auch geschmackliche Spitzenqualität, die mit der Zeit geht. Bis 2002 noch Neuland, ab 2003 dann in Bio, heute gibts sogar schon Halal-Currywürstchen bei den Wittys. Man schmeckt die Frische und zertifizierte Qualität ist wohltuend wo anderswo über Dioxin-Skandale berichtet werden muss. Auch die Soßenvielfalt ist ein Muß für jeden Entdecker. Wir waren gestern das erste Mal mit Freunden aus Canada am Kudamm und natürlich Currywurst essen bei Wittys. Haben selten eine so leckere Currywurst gegessen, die pikante Sauce der Knaller. Ich finde Wittys einfach total hammer!!! Am liebsten esse ich die ohne Darm mit ganz viel Curry und wenig Ketchup- einfach klasse!! Nach wie vor das kleine Highlight, wenn man mit Gästen in Berlin den Kudamm runter schlendert und nach dem KaDeWe-Besuch einen leckeren Boxenstop einbauen möchte. Unerreicht die Currywurst und extremlecker auch die original belgischen Pommes. Die Soßenkreationen nach eigenen Rezepten haben Erwähnung verdient.
