Tbh was happy to pay as we didn't have any other options. Took my number and said see you then. Things over ran at work (first week back) so didn't make 1430. Left work at 1630 to collect and called on the way to be told there closed for the day. However I can collect my clothes tomorrow morning. So they would have been washed and sat wet for the majority of the day and the whole night. Clearly this wasn't a viable option as they would have stunk the following morning. So had to get the laundry to wash again the following morning Not going to lie I felt robbed. Why not call 30mins before closing and say 'We're closing in half an hour, come get your kit' they took my number, it's beyond me. Apart from wanting the extra money. It seemed completely fine to them to mooch in the following morning and pay a premium for a service that was now void and be left worse off then I was. £56 (had to pay again for another wash) to get my clothes back wet. Unbelievable... Forgive me as I didn't say thanks but I genuinely didn't feel thankful.

Well, a launderette's never going to be the most exciting thing to review, but it's useful to know…read morewhere the good ones are if you've just moved into the area or even if you're visiting for enough time to need to do a wash. This one does the job and there's usually a machine free when you need one. Last time I checked, it was more expensive than Headington Launderette, but sometimes it's worth paying a bit extra to avoid carrying your laundry further. A wash costs from £3-£4.50. The machines are card-operated and you can buy cards from the internet shop next door. I find this quite annoying, especially as I think they have a minimum spend limit of around £30 (it used to be £28). Not good for one-off use, or when you're in a hurry. I still think it's easier to look for change. They've got driers as well, and it's quite a sociable place, but lots of minus points for the confusing card system.

I also take my shirts/blouses to be pressed and they are returned to me beautifully ironed and on wire hangers. This is not expensive, in my opinion, £5 or £6 for five (if my memory is correct).
