Albeit this, I signed a SINGULAR docusign which did not contain any of the important or pertinent information and had dozens of spelling errors, missing fields, false and inconsistent errors!!! Yet somehow they allowed payment from a third party and certified a death certificate that has less than 5% off fields spelled correctly and SICKENINGly lists next of kin and obtained all information from a random u related person. I pre-arranged my sister's final arrangements and cremation here. Funeral director, John Maher was…read morevery helpful and compassionate. He helped with the necessary paperwork. One thing I hate is bundling. Buying something you don't want is a rip off! A funeral can get expensive, were not talking a value meal, or phone, internet, and cable! They don't bundle at Brett funeral home. My sister was a very private person. She didn't want any kind of final ceremony, or anything. Nothing. ( I'm thankful she notified her lawyer of her intentions). My sister got exactly what she wanted, and paid only for the services requested. Now if she wanted more, she could have gotten more. The price for cremation, transportation, etc, etc was just under $2,000 two years ago. Almost everyone was steering us towards Church and chapel. Social workers, etc. Church and Chapel bundles. They wanted $10,000, maybe more it wasn't bad I guess if you wanted all the extras, but It's not what my sister wanted. Brett funeral just might be the cheapest. The respect and dignity is still there. They do cremations on site. In fact, they do cremations for most other funeral homes as well as the city of Milwaukee. If you're in need of cremation services for the least amount of money, I recommend Brett funeral home, they have knowledgeable, compassionate professionals.

I recently lost my mother-in-law and my family and I were not prepared. Luckily, She had gone to…read moreEvert-Luko to do some preplanning before her death so at least we had somewhere to start. I am SO GRATEFUL she chose Evert-Luko!!! When she passed, they were at the hospital immediately to care for her from the start. We met with the funeral director, Clint, a few days later and he was so kind and caring. He made us feel so welcome and it was like walking into his "home." We made all the arrangements with his help and it was such an easy meeting. He was very easy to talk to! With his help, we booked the church Mass at St. Charles, picked beautiful floral arrangements, finalized details, and snagged the VFW across the street for the luncheon after the burial. Sue (his right-hand woman) was amazing too!!! She took care of all of the backend stuff and made the arrangements for the luncheon. The food was amazing (we went traditional luncheon fare) and I was so happy with how it turned out. THANK YOU SUE!!! The day of the funeral went so smoothly. I was nervous about it all because I've never had to plan a funeral and I wanted my mother-in-law's send-off to be everything she deserved. Evert-Luko DELIVERED!!! Clint had another important engagement that day so Gino stepped in and walked us through the whole day. Gino was so attentive, calmed my nerves, and made sure we were all where we were supposed to be. We had a full Catholic mass for my mother-in-law and I am not Catholic so I was very overwhelmed with the traditions, but Gino was right by my side to help me through it and made sure I didn't "look lost." It all went off without a hitch. Thank you Gino for everything you did to make that day smooth and nerve free!!! From the bottom of my family's hearts, we THANK YOU ALL for being there with us during that really difficult time. I really could not have done it without you all. Evert-Luko staff took everything off my plate so I could focus on my grieving family and process our loss. If you require this service, I highly recommend Evert-Luko! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
