I found a fantastic crochet afghan/throw for $12 that was in immaculate condition. The shop has so many things.....I wish that I had more time in there. The shopkeep is super friendly and every item is well placed and easy to see. I would definitely return. It is difficult to find these little towns that have so many shops dedicated to antiques. It used to be very common. So glad that this place exists! We will DEFINITELY return. This is my favorite antique shopping destination in Oklahoma!

This store has tons of inventory and the gentleman working there was very helpful, warm, and friendly. We were glad we stopped as we found some good stuff. The only knock on the place is that it is too small or they have too much stuff. Organization was rough and it looks like the operator was just overwhelmed with stuff.

The staff is totally out of it. The place is pretty dirty, with no clear cleaning or organization. There is no public restroom. The place is 3 stories tall with a couple dozen rooms packed from floor to ceiling. Not only is there no restroom here, there's none for blocks. You ask the staff and they just shrug at you. I just can't recommend them. TL;DR: Not good. No restrooms.

The book selection is great and they have charms and stickers for all ages. The space is cozy and charming, the staff were incredibly kind. My kids especially loved the dogs! It was also refreshing to find a place in rural Oklahoma that encourages open-minded, progressive conversation and creates a welcoming space for ideas. I'm looking forward to attending events and continuing to support this wonderful local business.

I didn't love pretty books until Novel Idea ... I loved to read, but I didn't know the books…read morethemselves could be so beautiful! I picked up an author I didn't know because the cover was shiny, and now I've read 5 of her books. One new book I grabbed from the book club list, another couple with pretty bindings ... One of those turned into reading a 3-book series and a 13-book series all this year. All that to say, I've been inspired having a well-curated, community-centered book shop in town. They just celebrated 2 years, and I'm eager for what the next 2 bring! Most recently I made it to one of their book festivals. I had no idea Oklahoma had so many talented independent writers, and it filled me with pride to see them showcased (and get to buy their books!). They do three a year, definitely worth the trip.

He was honest about his work load and how long we would need to wait for our table. We ordered during his busy season, so we waited about 7 weeks for our custom table. The wait was so worth it!!! It's like he jumped inside my head and created the piece that I wanted but couldn't possibly convey all the details about. The quality of our maple table is top-notch. It is the kind of piece that will be a family heirloom for many generations to come. We could not be more happy with our end product and choice to use Rust and Rot. We will definitely be coming back to them for many many years!
