I didn't realize till later how old the reviews are - the most recent is 2 years. Maybe new owners? They were able to get us in first thing in the morning. Later they called and recommended new tires, telling us it would still be done that day. It turned out that they ordered the wrong tires and we were stuck for another night. In addition, we had 4 small children at a campsite in 90+ degree heat with horseflies and other fun bugs making the poor kids go crazy. We asked for transportation to a motel 3 miles away and were told that there's a local taxi service we should look into. A kind camping neighbor noticed our predicament and shuttled us to the motel (two trips because we didn't all fit in their car!). The next day we called to check on our car and found that it was done. My husband asked if they could pick him up (to save him a 1.5 mile walk) and they said sure, they'd be right over in a van. What?!?! Apparently the van guy wasn't working the previous day (and no one else could drive it?). The work seems to be all in order- we've driven 100 miles today. And the price was fair.

The Walmart auto associates ignored the request and straight up refused to oblige. Low and behold a few weeks later the tire I needed replaced blew up. My husband and I were traveling across country pulling our travel trailer from Illinois with…read moreCalifornia to be our final destination. We had a little mishap with our camper rubbing a curb stop at a gas station. We thought the damage was merely cosmetic. However, a few hours down the road, we had a tire blowout. We called roadside assistance, got the tired exchanged, new tire put on, and back on the road again to our first stop in Sioux Falls, SD. Next morning, we get on the road again, only to blowout the same tire!! At this point, we realized something more was wrong. Luckily for us, we were only a mile east from the exit for a very small town in SD called Kimball. While we were waiting for roadside assistance to arrive, a nice gentleman driving a van that advertised Overweg Repair stopped to see if we needed any assistance. We assured him we had assistance on the way, but thanked him for stopping to check on us. His shirt said his name was Dan. We later discovered he was the owner of Overweg Repair. When we realized that our front axle was most likely bent, we knew our journey could not continue until it was repaired. We limped into a little parking lot-like campground in Kimball called Parkway Campground, and gave Overweg Repair a call. Troy from there came to where we were, took a look at the camper and confirmed we needed a new axle. He went back to shop to see if he had what he needed to replace it. He called within an hour to see if we could come at 8am the next morning to get the work done. We were ecstatic! They did the repairs and had us back on the road before noon!! We couldn't believe it. We were so worried it would take days having to wait for parts to arrive. And the cost was extremely reasonable. Thanks to the team at Overweg, we were able to get back on the road quickly and continue our cross country journey vacation. We are so grateful. We would like to thank Troy, Corinne, and Tanya for all their assistance. They were awesome!
