They are primarily an excellent…read morebeer store, with a pretty wide and varied selection, but as the name implies, they also sell wine and liquor. The fun part is that they are also a tap room with some beers on tap that are pretty rare and hard to come by. You can belly-up to the bar, or sit at one of the dozen or so cafe tables. You'll also find a couple of sleepy St. Bernards lying next to your table, or under the baby grand in the center of the room. There's occasionally some live music, and they schedule beer brewing classes every so often. I live just across the bridge in PA, where the laws and taxes relating to beer are utterly ridiculous, so I am always happy to wander over the bridge for some beersanity. Even on blustery nights.

This WAS a awesome place to shop for a variety of great beers, but the new owners have tanked the place! Miller life cases are 5-10$more than any other places nearby. In most cases they on,y have ONE six pack of a micro style beer...and the price is highway robbery at best I should have known walking in at 5 pm and seeing NO other customers was a bad sign. BUT they do have 5-6 staff standing around doing nothing. But the staff did go to work on a customer refusing to wear a mask and being disrespectful and rude to him. I for one will never spend a dime here They need a course in customer relations and proper pricing

This place could be really something....2 dollars for a dozen clams? What a deal right?…read more So here's the thing. First of all - tiniest clams to ever exist. Which is fine, at that price, I'll just take down 3 dozen, no big deal. Except what you realize once you're in the place (or even from just outside the door actually) is that you want to spend as little time here as possible. I guess because they have slot machines they're technically a casino so...they allow smoking inside...and there is virtually no ventilation, so the place stinks. The food ends up tasting like smoke, and honestly it just leads to an overall lousy experience. The bartender was CLEARLY overworked, getting refills took a LONG time and a lot of effort... Just overall, not someplace I'd come back to. It's a bummer because it's cheap eats and drinks and honestly...while the clams were small, they were tasty. I would come back if they had outdoor seating...but again, as a former smoker married to an asthmatic, I'm not going to be spending a bunch of time in a smokey, dank, poohole...no matter how decent the food is.
