I reached out to Kristi in the very early stages of my pregnancy and she broke down how she teaches her classes. Each class was more interesting than the previous one. (It also helps when your partner is super involved- it makes it more exciting!) During the birthing process, Kristi prepared us so well for my 19 hour labor and 10 minutes (yes 10 minutes!) of pushing- for a first time mom. The way she advocated for myself and my husband in the hospital made us feel very grateful to have her there with us. She made me feel like anything was possible. I feel that everyone should have a doula- there were things I "thought" I knew but Kristi informed us of so much more- how to rest in between contractions and breathe through them. I am honored to have had Kristi there as our doula. We had a very special birthing team and we owe our healthy and safe delivery of our baby girl to her!

Her counseling and presence before and during birth provided me with so much comfort and confidence and allowed me to enjoy the birthing process (as much as you can enjoy labor). Cristina provided us with emotional and educational support throughout pregnancy and birth. She did this by being available at any time to answer questions and by providing classes, one on one sessions, and constant communication during the process. We learned everything we needed to know about birth and about newborn infant care and we both felt prepared for what was in store. She helped me become prepared on a broad level, such as practicing comfort measure strategies for labor, and on a micro level, such as providing us lists of what to pack in our hospital bags. She arrived the day I went into labor, went to the hospital with us, and stayed with me until my baby was born providing emotional and physical support and was she also great company! Many people think, I have a fantastic doctor so what would a doula help for? I also had a fantastic doctor who I would recommend to any birthing person, but even the most attentive doctors and nurses are busy with multiple patients and responsibilities. Having Cristina with us the whole time dedicated solely to our experience was priceless. Her presence allowed me to have a minimal stress birthing experience and I 100% recommend her services.

I thought it would be inconvenient and hard to explain things but it actually turned out ok.

Maria saved my family…read more I was referred to Maria from a friend. I was concerned about my baby's temperament and BF habits. I had already seen two other lactation consultants and he was my second so I had some experience but knew something was off. He was 5.5 months old. Maria has experience and knowledge and fearlessly shares it with you. I as a Mom needed to hear what she had to say and in the way she said it. She believed a number of my son's symptoms: not pooping every day, colic, constant crying, not liking tummy time, and sleep issues were caused by a tongue and lip tie. She was confident that having them released was the solution. To be honest I was skeptical and tremendously nervous about the procedure but we had nothing to lose. The procedure was the solution. She was right. Immediately following the release he started popping regularly, his whole body relaxed, and 10 months later we have a happy baby who is still exclusively breastfeeding. Thank you Maria. My family is so grateful for you.
