He answered my questions and spoke to me as his peer, which meant a lot. The pre-inspection steps he sent to me and post-inspection book he gave me were great steps to make the process painless and straightforward. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

He was patient and eager to educate us, assuring we understood his recommendations. His use of technology made the process seamless, and we received both reports within only hours of completing the walk-through. We plan to purchase more properties in the future, and without a doubt, will hire Matt as our home inspector again. We highly recommend his business. Several contractors who came to fix the problems were surprised that there was an inspection on the house before purchase. Of course, Amerispec doesn't take any responsibility for their work and it's all in the fine print. In addition, a few months later, they tried to get me to sign up for an "additional service" to review the inspection report with their inspector for an additional hourly fee! Of course, I didn't take that offer and sent them an email to express my dissatisfaction with their work but didn't get a reply which is not surprising. I'll never use Amerispec again or recommend them to anyone. Stay away from this company
