One hiccup was that the person who did the estimate said he'd be doing the work, but misjudged how to implement the new install and wasn't there on install day. Two different people showed up on install day and noticed right away it couldn't be done the way the first person thought (also didn't seem like it was communicated to them what we needed done in general, so I needed to explain). They were very quick to troubleshoot and come up with a solution though. They did everything, including putting the fans together out of the boxes, and got the job done quickly and at a fair rate. Very friendly and treated everything with a sense of urgency. The new fans have been working great and will definitely keep Biechler in mind for any future projects. Highly recommended! I think if they work on the logistics/communication between the estimator and people doing the work, it will make their job go even smoother. Fortunately, they have some great problem solvers on their team.

I had a PTAC unit installed to replace the old one that was no longer working properly. The…read moreprevious day Schaal sent their estimator to assess if the old unit was repairable. He determined that it would be expensive to fix the air conditioner function of the unit. I asked him what a new unit would cost. I wish that I would have decided to have the unit repaired instead. I paid $2900 for a PTAC unit that retailed under $1000. So I paid $1800 just to have the old unit taken out and the new one installed into the existing cutout and existing sleeve and grill. Then all they had to do was plug in the new unit into the existing outlet, test and calibrate the unit, and then they were done! I could have purchased the PTAC myself, swapped it with the same model,and saved myself $1800! The technicians that came were polite, courteous and very efficient. I realize that the price was all inclusive. But that is the price that would involve cutting a hole through the wall, installing a sleeve and panel, and putting in an electric plug to power the unit. Unfortunately, I didn't question the price since they don't provide itemized estimates. So I'm just going to have to suck it up. I do have to say that I feel that I was "taken to the cleaner"....

My not at all practical pipe dream of having a hot tub to bask in all began with a hot tub. Once it was secured and... we realized we actually could not just plug it in to the existing electrical outlet. (How naive of me to assume it was that easy?!) It took a hot minute to find an electrician. But once we found Price Electric they made it happen. They were responsive. They were quick acting. They got the parts and installed the electrical panel the day we had hoped. They even accidentally didn't have a part (doh) and STILL made it happen within 24 hours. Both securing the part and sending an employee out the following day. AGAIN, making my not at all practical but oh so worth it hot tub dreams a reality.
