I have used this company for many years for multiple electronics. Their techs are very knowledgeable with iphones, PS5 and computers. I was extremely disappointed with the customer service I received today. I have been a customer of Wireless Wizard in Ridgeland, MS, for 20 + years but will not return after today's encounter. On October 21, Wireless Wizard replaced a battery in my iphone. On Christmas Eve, my phone battery would no longer hold charge. I was out of town for the holidays and took my phone to another store on December 26, hoping they could fix my phone before I got on the interstate headed back to Jackson. The store tried to patch the phone to help me get back to Jackson but told me the phone had been incorrectly repaired with the battery replacement. The store recommended I take the phone back to Wireless Wizard since they had done the initial repair. This other business did not feel it was right to charge me to fix the phone; they felt the repairs should be covered by Wireless Wizard. Wireless Wizard initially tried to charge me $80 to fix the phone. They finally agreed to either charge me $40 for the repair or offered to put the non-functioning battery back in my phone and me take my phone elsewhere for repairs. The store insisted that I had damaged the phone by dropping it and refused to take ownership for their mistake. I even called the repairman I had seen out of town to ensure I did not misunderstand the issue with my phone. The fact that a business would let a long-term customer relationship end on such poor terms, implying the customer was lying and it was the customer's fault after loyal business for decades is astonishing. I felt very much taken advantage of and hope to warn other customers to seek other stores for their phone repairs. If I had had the time today, I would have had Wireless Wizard put the old battery back in my phone and I would have taken it elsewhere for repair. read more

I went into wireless wizard 6/24/24 to possibly sell my iPhone XR its in superb condition. The clerk offered me $70 because the "battery was almost at maximum capacity" & claimed it would need replacing. I then asked if I replaced the battery how much would I get, the clerk then talks to the mgr or owner, I'm not sure who since she referred to her as "She", she then tells me that the XR doesn't update anymore. I pulled up Apple Support & confirmed that the XR does update to the new iOS 17.5.1 so I told the clerk that's incorrect. She then talks to "She" again & says, "she said she's not interested." My response was of course she isn't because she's lying. Needless to say, I chuckled & left. Please be armed with knowledge doing business here because they aren't honest & transparent! read more

Took my phone in on 12-3-2020 to have the battery replaced. Both girls working the counter looked at it and attempted to take the case (that I had bought there) off but had no luck. One of them was digging on it with her fingernails, the other one used the hi-tech nail file. She took it in the back for the tech to look at it and came back to tell me the battery was an "integrated battery" that required them to break the screen to replace it and it would be more expensive than just buying one of their new phones. Thanks, but no thanks, so I came home and ordered a battery from Amazon for $8. It took me longer to watch to 90 second youtube video on replacing the battery than it did to get the case off and the battery out. read more

I'll start with the pros. I came in to have my laptop fixed after it wouldn't start in spite of all troubleshooting options. While the team wasn't able to salvage the laptop, the were successfully able to transfer all of my data onto an external drive which was good enough for me as the data was the most important thing. They were upfront about their prices which are very reasonable. Now the cons: when I brought my laptop in on a Saturday, I was told to call back Tuesday or Wednesday. I called Monday to see if there was any progress made as time was a factor and was told that my laptop was not serviced yet and that I didn't need to check in; they will let me know when it will be done. I asked for a timeline and in return got an "i don't know." I called back Wednesday to a similar reply and still couldn't get an ETA. After calling again, a week later now, I was told that they needed to order a device to get the memory off my laptop but still weren't able to offer an ETA. This went on for a few more days when I would call and get no useful information in return. Finally on friday after almost 2 weeks i was told that my data was being transferred onto an external drive and I would be notified when the transfer would be completed; the notification never came. Finally, I called today, 2 weeks after i initially brought the laptop in, and was told that it was ready for pickup. Personally, I think this was very subpar customer service. It's fair if you initially give a timeline of a few weeks or whatever it may be but to keep a customer in the dark for 2 weeks after saying to call back in 4 days is pretty unprofessional. Overall, the team did a good job salvaging my data but kept me in the dark without once being able to give me a complete ETA and not even calling when it was done. If you come here, you can be sure that your product will be fixed at a fair rate but don't expect to get it back anytime soon if you're in a hurry. read more

The cam on my phone was giving me issues and my iPad wouldn't charge. I didn't know if it was my iPad, the cord or the adapter. They quickly figured it out, whew it was just the cord! I checked in on Yelp to get 10% off. My camera lens had been changed out a week ago and somehow it wasn't focusing. They said it can possibly be the camera and surprisingly it wasn't expensive at all to replace the whole camera on my Samsung s7 edge. I dropped it off, grabbed lunch and came back. By the time I came back my camera was done. I asked them how much did I owe, and they said that my camera was fine, the inside lens had a smudge which made it hard to focus. They cleaned it for me free of charge. I really appreciate this team always being so honest, quick and affordable to fix my phones/iPad! Ain't gonna lie, I always get nervous walking into any kind of repair shops. They usually rip you off, fix things that aren't broke, charge you and arm and a leg. I went here to have my son game fix which first they tell me it's his hard drive so I paid over a hundred dollars to get the replace and mnths later game goes back in safe mode so I paid another $40 to get software update get home still not fix took it back they wanted to charge another $150 to replace the hard drive again n refused to give me my $40 back n also they charge $160 to fix my daughter screen on her phne which after the repair her front camera didn't work and they charge another $50 to fix the camera like this company is a rip off I will never go there again for any repairs I advise you to go somewhere else if you dont have money to jus give away read more

Hands down the best customer service. Left home expecting to pay a large sum for Wireless Wizard to fix my cell phone (install new charging port). After a quick inspection and quick lint removal the tech sent me on my way. He saved me $65 and did it with a smile. went here to get my screen repaired on my iphone! after i received my phone back, my screen has not been functioning properly meaning it's always a delay whenever i try to open an app. my ringer no longer works, and i can barely hear the phone when it vibrates. they replace my screen with an aftermarket screen which cause major issues with my iphone as well. my phone has been glitching and been hacked since i allowed these people to fix my phone. the customer service was very shitty and i will never deal with company again. read more

Terrible customer service! I walked in this morning 10/29/2011 and noticed a rep speaking to another customer.. I looked in his direction and he not once looked up or at least acknowledge me. This business does not even deserve a single star, they are unkempt and unprofessional, my friend and I came there not too long ago because we saw it from county line and I had heard of it from someone as being a good location to have phones repaired at, well, after browsing the store I noticed that even the "rocker" cases they sell can be found on Amazon for 2 to 3 dollars, and they sell then for 20 dollars! It's ridiculous! The repair was supposedly made and two days after my friend got her phone back the screen came loose, I went to apple and they said these parts are NOT from the manufacturer, in fact they can also be found by searching Amazon or eBay for 10 to 15 dollars.
