Wentworth Street itself is an important thoroughfare running east-west from the junction of Brick Lane, Osborn Street and Old Montague Street to Middlesex Street, forming part of the boundary between Spitalfields and St Mary's Whitechapel. It's also the alleged site where Emma Elizabeth Smith was attacked (by her own account) near the junction with Brick Lane/Osborn Street. Jack the Ripper fanatics will know this spot well, it's also the heart of the modern day red light district, not fun at 6am when business is booming believe me!
