Peppa Pig Theme Park - Amazing splash pad!

Peppa Pig Theme Park

Any Peppa Pig fan will love this park! It's definitely a toddler aged park which we love! Our son…read moreis almost 3 and had a blast. It's small, but has enough things to do to stay the whole day if you want to. We went on a Friday and liked that it wasn't crowded, but enough people and kids for our son to interact with. They have multiple rides, a rollercoaster, an air balloon ride, a boat ride and a dinosaur ride. They have meet and greets/times and we met George, our son was so happy to meet him! The area has a playground, a sand area with buckets, although I recommend to bring some of your own sand toys if your kids love playing with it, ducky pond where kids can catch the ducks with hooks, a bike race area. Our son had so much fun at the bike race area, he spend probably over 30 minutes doing that. There's also a small kids area that's gates, with tents and mini bike ride ons. Then they have a water splash area which is really nice and you can definitely spend quite some time there! They have a shop where we bought our son a peppa pig swim outfit, a cafe that looks like a cool diner inside, we love the colors and style of it! They don't have too many options for allergies, but you can bring your own food which we did for our son. My husband went in and had a pork sandwich, he said it was really good. If you really take your time there, do the rides multiple times ( we did one parent each so we went in multiple times ), do the show and meet a character, ride the bikes, play in the sand, make good use of the splash pad and enjoy a meal, and not rush everything, you can make a whole day out of it. There's enough to do there. For the summer, they have shade coverings around the park, which we really appreciate! We enjoyed our time there and will definitely come again!

Disney Fantasy - Royal Court Interior

Disney Fantasy

Dates of sail: February 26 - March 2, 2025 Stateroom: 7626…read more This was our third and sadly, least magical cruise experience thus far. If this had been our first Disney cruise, I'm not sure that I would rush out and do another one, truth be told. On our previous cruises, everyone we encountered on the staff, from the Check In crew at the port to the stewards, to the random Cast Members we would come across around the ship, was friendly and welcoming. Here the staff seemed harried and tired, like we caught them at the end of a very tough shift and they had nothing left to give. While the food was still excellent, the service was not at the same level as our previous cruises. We simply adored our dining teams on the Magic and the Dream; taking pictures with them at the end of the cruise. This time, with Jonathan and Carlos, it was very transactional. There was no connection or anything engaging with the team. They were certainly pleasant but the Disney magic was lacking. Our room steward, Arawan, was efficient, but I only ever saw him twice: Shortly after we boarded and the last night of the cruise when we were preparing our luggage for disembarkation. He certainly kept the room clean, so I do appreciate that! However I noticed some things, maintenance-wise in the room that displayed a lack of Disney's attention to detail, such as some rust spots in the bathroom. I would expect that from Norwegian, but definitely not from Disney. One night at the hot tub there was a guy openly vaping and staff only came over to tell him the hot tub was closing, not that he could not smoke in this area of the boat. At some of the trivias in the various entertainment venues, we either got inundated with offers for drinks or completely ignored, there was no in-between! In addition, staff broke my husband's luggage. Points to them for trying to fix it and sending an apology basket, but now that we are back on land, he has to spend time and energy filing a claim for the damage and going through that whole process. Hopefully we recapture the magic on our next Disney cruise, as the Fantasy is my least favorite of our cruises so far.

Cocoa Beach Aerial Adventures - Working the ropes!

Cocoa Beach Aerial Adventures

It was one of those things where we were like "Oh we should check it out..." but thought that we more than likely wouldn't, given the limited amount of time we had. After reading some very positive reviews and having nothing on our itinerary on the last day, we went ahead and booked online for an afternoon of something that was (hopefully) fun. And it was fun! It really tests your fears and limits. I kept imagining myself as a competitor on The Challenge or Ninja Warrior for motivation and to keep me going lol. Our 8 year old was just happy to kept level 1 completed and had no desire to complete level 2. By the time my husband and I completed level 2, our hands were feeling sore and raw (I really am surprised that gloves aren't part of the helmet/hand was rental) and we were drenched in sweat (it was over 100 degrees!!). I was the only one to do the zip line drop. That was really underwhelming. I thought it would be a high zip line across the park but it was literally a slow drop down from the top. This cost an extra $7 per person, too. Overall, I highly recommend Aerial Adventures for couples/ groups/families that are in Cocoa Beach and seeking a fun activity. My tips would be to bring gloves and LOTS of water! They keep coolers at each level so you can keep it cold if you don't have a flask. Don't forget to tip the staff, too!

Busch Gardens is always a fun time. We grabbed food at Zagora Cafe, which was different for me. I usually eat at the Dragon Fire Grill & Pub. Although we had vouchers to use for food, the food prices are unfortunately pretty up there. My cousin, mom, and aunt all got the bacon cheeseburger and said they would not get it again. I got the chicken tenders because I personally find that easiest at amusement parks, and they were fine. My gripe that I have with Busch Gardens and I feel this every time I go, is that there is no attendant near the front of the ride queue that directs your party to a lane. Busch Gardens is the only amusement park I've been to where it's like this. This honestly makes it very unorganized when it's busy. When you get to the front there's just a giant glob of people near the lanes and it makes it hard to decide which lane to go in. Then once your in the lanes you have to count the people in front of you so you're able to ride with your party (if it's larger than 2, and the ride is 2 to a row). I honestly feel that this adds to some of the wait times around the park. Every other amusement park that has an attendant to guide parties to lanes make it run so much smoother!
