It's possible to pick up some English snacks at this time with dishes like steak and kidney pie and the old favourite - fish and chips. The first few times I came with friends and thought it was so good I came back with the family! My favourite dishes are the vegetable spring rolls, sweet and sour chicken and egg fried rice. I know you can easily get this for less in a take away but it's just not the same. The spring rolls were filled with a nice variety of veg and weren't greasy, the sweet and sour chicken almost melted in my mouth and had the right balance of sweet and sour sauce. The average main course is £5-12.00 per person and the portions are satisfying but aren't enough to make you feel bloated, not bad eh?

You can obviously get a takeaway here too but not that late into the night. If it's a quick one stop you want, with a taste of Chinese on your tongue - you can do a lot worse.

It was a leap of faith as there weren't any Yelp reviews to help guide us. I am so happy to report that the service was excellent from the moment I called and placed the order. A friendly voice efficiently took my order, confirmed it and said it would be ready in 15 minutes. Exactly 15 minutes later I arrived to a warm smile and friendly welcome. The food was packaged up in an excellent Asian-inspired cardboard carrier. The aroma from the box was intoxicating for the short journey back home. May be we are spoiled here in the US because we get it all the time without charges . The food was mediocre at best but the service was curt, inconsistent, and rushed. The place looked old and tired. For a 40 year surviving restaurant with table clothes, etc... I expected more. It was so blah, I didn't even take photos after the spring rolls which tasted burned from other old oil or over frying. Skip and keep looking elsewhere for food with orientalist influence if in Bath.
