No one previously had mentioned that I would be paying for the entire procedure after my surgery and that my insurance would reimburse me at a later date. Instead of the usual practice of billing my insurance and then me for anything they would not cover. I found this office from my insurance network and had no reason to suspect the process would be any different. They waited until I was drugged, and disoriented, with blood and cotton in my mouth, I couldn't even speak let alone argue. Never in my life have I experienced such a predatory practice.

She made what is for most people a very stressful and painful experience into nothing but a positive experience. Her warm, caring and above all super competent approach put my son totally at ease. He greeted me at the end of the procedure with a smile on his face. Dr. Kaplan is very good with adolescents. After the actual procedure went very well despite the fact that it was a difficult surgery because my son's teeth were horizontal I was quite concerned about the postoperative pain and swelling. To my surprise my son hardly had any pain at all which I can only attribute to Dr. Kaplan's surgical technique. I would highly recommend Dr. Kaplan for any surgical procedure. She is very special!

My orthodontist recommended me to Dr. Sarmiento and it was the best decision! Him and his office staff are so pleasant. He has great bedside manner and explained everything to me in detail. I had planned to have a minor procedure done at the end of March but when an earlier spot opened up, I took it. He used a laser to remove the excess gum tissue and it was painless. So, would not recommend this particular dentist, on the account of my experience with him. First, without telling the patient beforehand, Stephen J Klein deceived me into signing for cancer diagnosis without any explanation, which is illegal. I never asked Stephen J Klein to get a cancer diagnosis, but Stephen J Klein deceitfully misled me into thinking I was signing for a tooth extraction. The doctors, nurses, and secretary never mentioned the tumor diagnosis to me. Now Stephen J Klein keeps threatening me and overly charged me 500$. Second, I had already had an x-ray diagnosis done at another clinic. X-ray results showed that Stephen Klein did not successfully complete the bone engraft. This is a very serious medical accident. However, Stephen J Klein still threatened me and overly charged me 500$. Third, during the process of extracting my teeth, Stephen Klein did not wait for the anesthesia to take effect before forcefully extracting my teeth, which caused me tremendous pain. Although I repeatedly emphasized to Stephen Klein that the anesthetic had not taken effect, he did not consider my feelings at all and forcibly extracted the tooth, causing me extreme pain. The lady who is in charged of the office gave me a hard time to send me back the monies that Cigna reimbursed me. She punished me for following up for the last 2 months on the monies I deserve. Her attitude is laced with misrepresentations, lies & racism. I'm not "white" for which "she is used too"! I regret having to deal with this lady in this dental office!

There was no swelling the next day and I did not even take any pain medications. The surgeon was Dr. Horschander and I consider that to be a great stroke of luck. I found Dr. H to be comforting, explanatory of the situation, incredibly capable and in an unpleasant situation he displayed a humorous bedside manner that put me at ease!!! I have since been back for two follow up appointments and will be having bone graft, etc. in the coming weeks. I am extremely comfortable, pleased and relaxed (as much as you can be in this situation) with Dr. H "at the helm"!!!
