Failed to provide a respectful & fair service. My signature was fraudulently signed into a loan that I repeatedly asked to have cancelled by VGO Finance out of Winnipeg Hyundai. General Manager Ralph Wasserberg later agreed to help place me into a different vehicle, but only if I traded in the same vehicle that should never have been sold to me in the first place and added another $7,000 of negative equity back onto a new loan, despite that amount already being absorbed into the existing loan and paid toward through my monthly payments to protect my credit. Ralph himself confirmed the vehicle should not have been sold. Instead of buying the vehicle back and starting the process over properly, Winnipeg Hyundai attempted to use it as a trade-in. I was then subjected to six credit checks by their financial manager and shown two different 2024 vehicles with 100,000 km on them. When I finally found a vehicle that met the requirements they originally gave me, I was later told I was denied due to the negative equity created from this situation. This entire process has been dragged out for over a month while I continue being left with the financial consequences of a deal I repeatedly tried to cancel from the beginning. read more

Terrible place to shop for cars. Drive across the city, 35 mins, for my booked appointment with Rue. Walked in and everyone looked at me like I was stupid. Rue comes out and tells me he'll find a guy to be with me soon, everyone's busy right now. Why did I book an appointment then? I've now been waiting for 30 mins to talk to someone about financing a vehicle and the store closes in 12 minutes! This is absolutely ridiculous. Would never recommend or buy a vehicle from businesses that truly act as if your time is worthless. Many other dealerships in the city. Go to the next one and don't waste your time! read more

wish I could give zero stars for the service, and the practices. This 1* is not for the sales team. I bought a car from there a few years ago and they handled everything brilliantly. However, the service department is night and day when compared I took my Santa Fe in for an engine issue. it was the issue many of these vehicles suffer from. after jumping through hoops to prove any repairs, service history etc. there was a missed service in the first year of ownership so they tried to charge me $300 to test the oil. bear in mind, I bought it used from this exact dealership. after a lot of push back they eventually agreed to test the oil for free. when asked about a replacement vehicle, they informed me it would only be when the part arrived until when the part was fitted. And was told 2-3 weeks, after the 3 weeks passed, I attempted to reach out to the service department, with no answer and no reply to the many messages. my partner reached out to the service manager (to her credit was actually fast with responses)we were then told the part was another month away. after that date passed we Tried reaching out again but more of the same. Again contacting the service manager she agreed to give us a replacement vehicle (again huge credit to her for this) another month passed and we attempted to reach out again. Eventually was told it would be any day now. Not an issue as we had the replacement. But just let us know. Finally got the message it was in and replaced. however, I was informed the battery was dead and won't hold a charge. This was frustrating as it sat in their lot for almost 3 months waiting for their slow delivery system or parts procurement. So there goes another $250. they also reported the AC was not working And putting the fault down to some pipes and hoses. Wanting hundreds of dollars to fix it. I know for a fact it went in there with great AC but now suddenly does not work at all. they are lucky I can't prove it. but it's no coincidence they worked on the engine and now I need to repair/charge the AC. Also, had a report the brakes were making noise and were weak. Yes, it's been sat in your lot for almost 3 months collecting rust Waiting for their slow system. ive ran the vehicle around and wore the brakes back in. It's a lot better now and cost nothing, however they again wanted into the thousands to fix this. I hope this isn't a force practice on the service team to find additional billing. they are lucky I can't prove the condition of the vehicle prior to it going into their shop. The inspection report come to almost $6000 in total. Most of it isn't an issue, and anyone with even the smallest amount of mechanical know will see it wasnt what they were claiming. however I know they messed up my AC and I have no option but to take it in for repair, but it'll be someone else getting my money, not these lot. my only hope is, someone will catch them out eventually and force a change on this practice. read more

Every time I go to this dealer, I have to go twice. Nothing is fast, nothing is ever done correctly the first time. I always have to bring the vehicle back to finish something. This time it was scratches in the body work. The dealer told me the amount of time they required the car for, and had it for twice that time frame. Then expected me to leave it sit in their lot for the weekend so they could work on it again the next week. Part of me is angry at myself, as I was warned to steer clear of this dealer after the sale. I thought they must've fixed their problems by now. Was I ever wrong. A vehicle I purchased for my wife to drive, even she won't go back to this dealer because you have to have an open schedule. Time is money for me and these people feel my money should be wasted while they take their time.......not impressed. No longer a fan. read more

horrible experience..just went to this dealership today & had a quote for the 2017 tucson AWD base model & was given $189/bw all in including taxes for 84mos @ 0%...i showed them the flyer regarding the promo that they have for the day which was $25,885 or $72/wk plus taxes...they got surprised..1st i was told it was only for the specific unit indicated on the flyer, which was stock#27658T so they would need to check if it's still available..the unit was still in the lot..when we told them that we're interested with the sale price, the managers just said (without any credit check yet) that we can only avail of the $72/wk plus taxes or $162.72bw taxes included if we do it for 96mos at 3.17% with their SMART program..nowhere on the flyer mentioned any of these 96mos, 3.17% or SMART program, not even on the fine print..it only showed 0% up to 84mos..what they were offering was going to cost me more money instead of saving..what's ridiculous is the regular price of this unit with the same exact stock# (or any tucson of the same trim) on their website is $28904 or $158.81 plus taxes or $179.45/bw taxes included, for 84mos @ 0%..the managers still pushed it @ $189/bw if we wanted it at 0% for 84mos despite these explanations..ithe regular price (based on their website) was at $179.45/bw & the sale price should have been at $162.72bw taxes included for 84mos @ 0% based on the ad..it was supposed to be a 2-day SALE WHEREIN THE PRICES SHOULD BE LOWER, NOT HIGHER..i'm not sure if the sales managers in this dealership expect oblivious/ignorant customers all the time or they're not too keen on giving the SALE PRICE to someone who's BROWN..i hope they're not that racist but it kind of felt that way.. read more
