It's on the SIDE of the shopping plaza, I thought it had been turned into a Paul Mitchell school and was going to go to Sake House instead when I spotted it! And it shares a space - and employees - with a grocery store. The food is really outstanding, unless you are going to insist on a fancy presentation of a proper restaurant, don't pass on this one. Everything is made to order so it's super fresh and the portions are massive! We didn't have enough room for the desserts but they look toothsome!

What a great decision, as we pulled up they had an incredible mural on the side of the building (very noticeable) from Rivers. As we walked in you can smell all the legit food that was available. It's a deli and restaurant that serves delicious Brazilian food. We ordered a bunch of items and trust me I wanted to order more. Everything was so good, the women there gave us a tasting of a type of cheese bread they had, she was super helpful with our questions. We actually made sure to get some items to take home too, (like the Flan ) I would make a special trip up there to go again, make sure you stop by next time your in Goose Creek, you will not be disappointed!

Sandwich bun needed fat before touching on the grill to hide the staleness of the bread. Sliced brisket was portioned robustly to acknowledge the cost, yet still the biggest letdown: bland, chewy, and not especially fresh meat. Ribs were better, dry with minimal cartilage and tender meat. The bottles of mustard and BBQ sauce on the side did nothing to hide the fact. Very disappointing fall after a decent go at their pit beef a few years ago.

I really try my hardest to support black owned businesses, so I tried these ladies out at DogFest…read more I do have to say it was just ok. My experience wasn't bad nor top notch. I can tell that they value customer service though which is nice. Perhaps there was just a lot to worry about during the festival. Service could be improved but they were very friendly. I was disappointed that some of the reviews I've read were right. The menu posted said that they offered sides but when I asked there were none. The festival started a few hours ago though so maybe they ran out, but why not erase it from the white board if there's not more, ya know? I opted for the pulled pork sandwich, even though my diet was screaming no. It was interesting. The bun was average, which is ok for pulled pork-- the meat is the star. The pork itself was a bit too soft for my liking and lacked flavor. I added a spicy BBQ sauce to it which helped but perhaps if the pork were marinated in this sauce before being served, that would do the trick! Overall, it wasn't bad but could definitely improve. I would support them again with hopes of a better experience next time!

And I'm happy to report that it exceeded my expectations! The slice of pie was HUGE (very tall) and it had some kind of a sauce/cheese combo on top of the tomatoes that was fantastic. My husband and I also shared the following: cinnamon rolls, salted caramel brownie and a white chocolate raspberry bread pudding muffin. All were huge, rich in flavor and very satisfying. I have suspected for a while that most Indian restaurants are getting their food premade from somewhere else and are just hearing it up. Bombay did not give me that impression. The food actually tasted different from most Indian restaurants and I really liked it! We started with the lamb samosas which had a bit of spiciness to them that liked. I had a lamb vindaloo, medium spice, and it was just right (I usually get "Indian hot" but wasn't in the mood for that tonight). Two of my kids had chicken curry, a third had butter chicken. We shared butter naan and Kashmiri naan. Mango lassis around the table. Everything was really good and tasted fresh, and didn't come off as pre-made. Food was a little slow to come out but I can tell it's a family place with only two people there tonight so I don't mind. My kids really liked the food here, it was the first time my youngest had Indian food and he is a big fan now. There is also a small Indian grocery attached which is worth checking out as well. J.Ja

I am shocked at the huge, thick and hard bread choice for this sandwich; not exactly the size/texture expected.
