This bank just took over another bank. None of the new passcodes for the ATM cards or phone banking…read morework. In writing our old cards, checks, and routing numbers would work until the end of December or possibly into January 2026. With no notice our old cards stopped working and although we were told there was no need to order new checks apparently they have started using the new routing number making our checks obsolete and the passcodes we create and then put in again and are 'accepted' don't actually work. I've spoken to several branch managers in different locations and the person who is to help us over the phone. I have gotten incorrect and very different information from each of them and the booklet they sent out was more promotional than actually having important information on exactly how to change passcodes and what the new routing number will be etc. oh and they changed the addresses to joint accounts without permission or informing both parties that, despite the original bank having a different address for some accounts they were going to only use one that they choose. So, I have been unable to get answers, cash from ATMs or use my card for purchases and if they are this disorganized and their instructions for creating passcodes is incorrect I just can't understand how they function well. And this has been happening for about 4 months. Who changes addresses without permission? Who tells you your bank card is good through December and they will get the new routing number to you don't bother with new checks because that's not going to go into effect until Late January 2026 and then they change the dates and don't call, send mail to an address, email, or tell you in the bank or over the phone that they did change the date and some addresses and sure some cards aren't working but hey we should magically know that they are doing all of this despite it being earlier than planned. Do not change to this bank- unless you have branches near you and the time to make do with no usable card, checks that may not be valid anymore, and your mail might go to a different address. If you feel fine with that hassle then go for it- but your landlord or mortgage company is not going to blame them if they can't get their money nor are any of your credit cards etc. I've been with new to me banks and banks that have changed hands and I have never dealt with this level of misinformation and the inability to get information or money because no one seems to know the correct information and instructions. RUN! There are plenty of good banks that are well organized and easy to use whether they have bought out your bank or your choosing a new one. This bank doesn't offer great rates or special accounts. It's a very typical bank. No one needs this headache! I know quite a few people trying to resolve immediate problems and then we're all going to find a new bank with much better communication and organization!

My friend had inadvertently tried to purchase something online with a fraudulent company that…read moreswitched what she ordered AFTER she ordered it. She IMMEDIATLY called the bank to prevent it, as PER THEIR INSTRUCTIONS ONLINE. They told her it come on in WITHOUT REFERENCE to making an appointment. My friend doesn't have a car so I frequently drive her there to do her banking. The manager was busy with another client so my friend said she'd wait. The Branch Manager said that she needed an appointment and that her first chance was in OVER 2.5 HOURS. We told her that one of her employees told her to "come on in" NEVER MENTIONING THAT SHE NEEDED AN APPOINTMENT. Like it or not FRAUD with credit/ debit cards is part of common banking. Protection requires IMMEDIATE action! The manager then came out of her office and DEMANDED THAT WE LEAVE "HER BANK" or she would call the police. I asked what on Earth she would tell them. We were there because one of HER employees TOLD my friend to come in to take care of the fraud. When I asked for her name she put her hand over her name (My friend and I both wear reading glasses so could NOT read the small font on her name tag. I walked over to a teller and asked for her Supervisors name and she looked away and locked her lips. I repeated myself a few times until I said. "If you both had handled this fraud professionally then there would be NO reason to hide this Branch Managers supervisor from us!" With that the Brank manager got closer to me and inadvertently hit my finger with her shoulder I said I'm sorry my finger got in your way. Dont think this is the end of this. The Branch manager then told us she was calling the "cops" and pulled her phone out. I said go ahead I'd love to hear what LIE you tell them to make this look like our fault. The Br Mgr then told us to never come back and to get help @ another branch. We left and I again told my friend that obviously this bank was too far away and not interested in taking care of her-so she needed to find another bank. I refused to drive her there again, neither of us had deserved what that Br Mgr was dishing out. Later I went to the banks website to find out their policy on fraud. It clearly states that fraud can either be handled over the phone OR BY COMING INTO A BRANCH LOCATION. It DOESNT mention ANTHING about making an appointment. So if you want to be bullied by a Branch Manager then this is a PERFECT fit for you. If you think you deserve respect by a Br Mgr. THEN AVOID THIS BRANCH LIKE YOU'D AVOID THE PLAGUE!!!!!
