I went here under the advice of my mother in law, who has been frequenting this place fortnightly for many years to get a manicure. I'm not usually one to fuss over my nails, but I thought why not treat myself. So I did.
The first thing that hit me was the strong smell of nail polish remover (which I guess is not surprising for a nail salon). My hands were first soaked and massaged (which was heavenly. I'd go back just for the hand massage).
For the next ten minutes my nails were preened and prettied. I will admit the end result was great. For once my nails didn't look chewed and broken. They looked clean, straight and shiny. I went with a French manicure finish, as I wanted to look like I wasn't wearing polish.
I'd definitely go back here for a special occasion. read more
