Firstly, I am in the holistic realm of touch therapy, tantric practice, aromatherapy and energy healing. So I know exactly what I look for in a practitioner when getting massages/healing. Rosario is nice enough and welcoming and has a beautiful space, but our pre chat was mostly about him and his poly / s3xual relationships that he has with a lot of his clients, and how hes being shouted holidays with alot of these women. He spoke in depth about other clients experiences, and one of which was a sad story which I will not repeat for confidentiality. Whilst I hold compassion for other people, feeling sad was not what I wanted to hear before entering an embodied s3nsual massage. All this talk was cutting into my massage time as well. I made the right call to not get a y0ni massage and opted for just a s3nsual relaxation massage instead. I didnt feel right letting this mans fingers inside me. As I was lying naked and vulnerable on the table, Rosario made comments at how great my a$$ is, how great my br3asts are, how hot my body is. This is absolutely not OK and I should have spoken up at the time but I also wanted to learn about the massage and how he structures it because its something I want to start practicing. These personal comments about my body, as well as hearing that hes in s3xual relations with his clients made my body feel really UNSAFE therefore I couldnt drop into my body or the experience and enjoy it. I felt my energy body instantly put up a wall. Another huge disappointment was throughout the whole massage, he kept asking me questions. "Do you go to the gym because your body is amazing?", "how tall are you?", " What does this tattoo here mean?".... This is so disembodying and forcing me into my head and not allowing me to enjoy the massage. What massage ever includes talking thats not related to the pressure or focus points of massage? He was leaning against the massage table which I totally get creates stability and comfort for the practitioner, but several times my elbow could feel his g3nitals and I kept trying to move my arm in closer to my body to avoid this happening. Sure, sometimes it can happen by mistake but I feel like this just added to the experience. When I rolled onto my back and he saw my br3asts, he said "This is the part where I suck br3asts, no only joking" I dont care what kind of joke that is, its disgusting to make that comment. Again, I put up with it. As he was massaging my pubic area and £abia, he made comment "you have a really nice y0ni".... At the end once I was dressed and had my wallet out, I was tempted to say "Im not paying" but thats something else Im navigating, to speak up face to face, I did however have the courage to say "Do you mind if I leave you some constructive feedback", however, I didnt fully finish my sentence because Rosario leaned in for a hug. I managed to get out "Do you mind if I leave you some constructive....." After we hugged, he said "you give great hugs" and then proceeded to ask questions about my van and then tell me about an expensive van he wants to buy. OK, so now I feel UNHEARD and he didnt have the awareness to say "sorry i cut you off what were you going to say?" or maybe he did and was just being avoidant because he could sense that I was aware of his behaviour? Therefore, I am leaving this review. Im sure alot of his regular married clients are happy that they get to see this "tantric guru" and have multiple 0rgasms, but as a holistic practitioner myself, someone who was seeking a legitimate tantric experience and to learn something for my own career, this just screams S3XUAL SCAM. Rosario was not energetically attuned at all and is just offering a high paid s3xual service. Really dissapointed but hopefully this review can alert women to what theyre really paying for. Our presenter Bart was great at conveying a massive slab of information into something that was both funny and engaging (a rare skill). I think that the majority of the attendees gave Bart their email address to receive the PowerPoint presentation which is a reflection of how much they enjoyed themselves. Our Community manager Mel P. Was also there to give a brief overview of the history of Yelp, another great public speaker. Go Mel :) I hope that Yelp partners with GA (that's what the cool kids call it) again :) :)

I went there for a course in relaxation and meditation. The course went for 6 weeks and involved a one hour session for each week. It costs only $70 and was well worth it. Class sizes here are kept small and this means that classes run smoothly and if you are struggling it is easy for the teachers to notice and give you more help. The building itself is very non-threatening as it is a converted house. Because of this it can be a little hard to find. Look for the church near the station and the Learning Centre is almost opposite. There is a large range of courses on offer and the staff here are super welcoming. If you're looking to do something different I would definitely recommend it. My Mum recently attended to earn her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, which took her around 3 months to earn. She really enjoyed her experience with the Centre and would visit again.

There were all these hot girls (and a few brave dudes) doin' the most radical go-go, I was mesmerised. The the leader told me to join in and I fuckin' freaked out. I have no rhythm, you see, and there was no way I was gonna get involved. Then they all swarmed me, circled me and cajoled me until I couldn't get away. So I started busting out these sick hip hop moves I'd picked up in my youth and they all just stared at me. Then the music stopped and they all just started walking away and chatting amongst themselves but I kept dancing and dancing like a man possessed. Then the lights went out and everyone had left apart from the bar keep and she silently golf clapped me and I walked out, sweaty and exhausted into the night. True story.

I say 'amazed' because the first time I did the class, I swore I would never go back there nor do Zumba again. A friend had attended the class with me and we promised each other afterwards that we would never speak of nor tell anyone about the things we did in that class. Oh the shame. That's why I still can't believe I went back. It's pointless to get into the reasons why I decided to go a Spin City Zumba class again, but I did and this time, the things we did in that class were again unspeakable, but for opposite reasons. To reveal what happened in this class would be to reveal what happened in the first class and I can't break a promise, so I shall say no more about it, except to say that I've now learnt my lesson, and there'll be no more Zumba classes at Spin City for me. On a positive note, after the second Zumba class, a Latin dance group who had been rehearsing their new routine in the next studio, asked us to stick around and watch them perform as they wanted an audience. I stayed and they were really great. The teacher was really fantastic. My conclusion is that the actual dance classes here must be pretty good, of a high standard. As for the Zumba classes, well you know I can't talk about that.

It is a studio space that empowers people to confidently create in a sustainable way. Young teachers share their knowledge of sewing, knitting, screen printing, macrame and stamp carving amongst many other skills. Alongside their workshops, handcrafted tools, supplies and other items are also on offer via their online store. The studio space is run by the gorgeous entrepreneurial Nicola Prested. This morning I took a three hours long workshop in making a macrame plant hanger. I found free parking easily on a Sunday morning. Booking the class was easy via weteachme.com, and if you book with a friend you get a discount. You may think macrame is just about tying knots but it can be quite meditative. It was a small class of five women located in a bright homely space. We were greeted by two friendly faces, hot cuppas of tea, homemade chocolate zucchini cake and anzac biscuits. We learnt to tie a noose (definitely useful in getting out of life imprisonment) and square knots. Our arms hurt from all the tying but we were persistent. Lots of knots later and our bellies full of goodies, we had gorgeous maiden's fern pots sitting on top of our well tied ropes. We even got an instruction sheet to take with us. Hello etsy here I come. :) Definitely coming back for macrame part two.
