I set up an appointment through this app and checked in the night before to confirm my appointment. He estimated that the process would take 3-4 hours, and he actually spent 5 hours which I didn't expect but was pleased with due to the great results. Cody came to my house in the early morning on a hot summer day with all of his supplies, including towels, hose connector, wax machine, cleaning materials, and more, which was very convenient. He first washed my car in the driveway and let the foam sink in. He then had me move it into the garage where he could dry the car, wax and detail the interior. Cody was thorough in his work and clearly took pride in what he does, which he does well. I pointed out a few problem areas and he was able to address them accordingly. He went over what he did to ensure my car stay in pristine condition, including applying sealant, steam cleaning, and protective coating. I can already see a difference, especially the interior. Having declined the dealership push for special coatings and treatments, I drove directly over to Tony who gave me a fair price on tint, a clear mask, and a ceramic coating. Tony took his time and explained the options, including being honest about where he would and wouldn't recommend spending some extra cash. In the end, we did the mid-level ceramic coating, 24" clear mask, and ceramic tint on our 2019 Accord Hybrid. Just to be sure I was getting a fair deal, I even priced another detailer in FoCo but couldn't pin them down on a number. In an email, they said one price but when I showed up, somehow the price doubled due to "prep work" that would be required. Prep work? The car is brand new! Toney was clear on pricing from the beginning and has never tried to pull a bait and switch. He communicates quickly and clearly via email and text and is realistic about scheduling and price/value for his services. We will be bringing any and all of our current and future cars to OCD for their TLC.

Doorsills were still filthy, third row was completely untouched, floor mat clips caked with dirt. - Wheels were rinsed off but were still covered in brake dust/grime - Exterior paint was washed but not wiped/dried properly, and clearly was not waxed. Lots of remaining bug residue and hazy, steaky cleaning product left on the paint. Definitely was not waxed even though that was included in the "mighty detail" package I purchased. Overall, the car would've gotten cleaner being run through a $12 touchless wash. I was also charged an undisclosed $35 pet hair removal fee, even though there was no dog hair in the car. I called to express my disappointment and the representative was completely unapologetic. They offered to send the same detailer out to give it another shot, which I declined. Why would I want the same person working on my car who did a poor job the first time? The representative then told me this specific detailer has had other complaints. Why would I want that person touching my car again then? I was the told it would be at least a month before any other detailer was available, so no recourse other than to have the same incompetent person come back out. I was offered a partial refund, which is probably fair, but I'm still left with a disappointing experience and a car that was not detailed properly. I will be looking elsewhere for a more professional detail in the future.

My opinion is that Tom's shop takes something of a scientific approach to vehicle repair and will go more in depth with an analyses than another shop I had been to for an issue with my '99 Tahoe. As an EV owner himself I gather that Tom is up on the current tech, perhaps more than some other places who would have men of my age (68) from the "dinosaur era" of automotive tech working at their shops.

There was a problem with the communication surrounding the tow transfer so I started my experience with Hands on Auto Tech with some trepidation. Tom handled the situation and we moved onto the real problem with my truck. The diagnosis was the clutch so I approved the repair and waited a few days for the parts to arrive and the repair to proceed. After the clutch was replaced another problem with the operation of the clutch was discovered so I agreed to the additional repair and another day for repair. After a week I was reunited with my truck. The repair was costly, lengthy and unexpected but coming out the other side of this experience I learned a couple of lessons. 1. If you have your vehicle towed to a shop follow the tow truck to the shop and verify the transfer. 2. Communication and follow up throughout the repair are key Tom was great to deal with and I feel that he was honest with me about the repairs needed and the cost of those repairs. Having recently moved to the area I feel my vehicle maintenance and repair needs can be checked off the list. They were very honest, completing a very comprehensive service and inspection and only came up with two possibilities for future problems for my 110k mile car. Powersteering pump which we just replaced, he showed me the old part and explained the consequences for being vigilant, plus they were cool enough to keep my car for me an extra day (inside and safe) due to some scheduling problems. Next, we will do shocks and another full service in the fall. They realize I'm former military as well as attending Univesity and have worked with me accordingly financially and with thoughtful servicing planning. They have been more than friendly they have been neighborly, much like my experience with the people of Loveland, I'm continually happy to say.
