Well, it is 4pm on a Thursday and the wedding is on Saturday, so I immediately think that it is impossible to find a local vendor who can help. I began to make calls, to 6 different vendors as a matter of fact, and not one of them can help me on such short notice. I then recall a vendor 45 minutes away from me who kindly assisted me with a previous project, so I reached out to Rudy with Lasershark. He immediately responds and says he's boarding a plane and will be home later that evening, but not too worry, he will get it done...send me the design file. I do just that and low and behold, first thing Friday morning he notifies us that the custom cake topper is ready for pickup! After a week of no contact, we called & found that no one had looked at the watch yet. The next day or so, we called again only to find out they could not repair Swatch watches. Huh? So, another 10mile/20 miles round trip to pick up the watch. Poor, poor customer service....why didn't the front desk person LEARN that this business could not fix Swatch? Why didn't one of the jewelers look at the watches received each day to determine if they could take the next step or not and contact the customer? Again, poor customer service.
