This company is wonderful. I called several locksmith companies and they refused to fix a gate lock. Guthrie's answered the phone, to begin with. Then, Luis came to the house the same day. Quick. Inexpensive. Efficient. Excellent. I was in and out in 3 minutes. Key made from a broken key for a car. Cost 6 dollars for the key blank and work for my specific key. It took less time to find the blank and cut the key then it would to order a burger. Key worked perfectly the first time. Simply excellent. read more

The worst service ever. I went in with my family to see the gun safes they had. We were there for about 10 minutes with nobody getting up off their chairs to help us. My son then told me to just leave. So we left. I then ordered a gun safe through the Liberty Gun Safe website months later in June 2020. I was contacted by a lady called Abbey from Guthrie's the day after I placed my order. She tried to convince me in ordering a different color of safe instead (like if she's paying for it). I told her "no." She then said that I would have to wait until September for my order to be placed because she had already placed orders (she couldn't even make 1 exception). I called her recently in early September for the status on my order and she said that when "supposedly" she tried to place my order, the limited edition white-in-color safe that I had ordered back in June was no longer available. I don't believe she even placed my order. I was greatly disappointed with her. Again, she asked me if I wanted a different safe. I couldn't believe what she was asking me. Abbey, because of your incompetent service to me, I did not get my safe! I will definitely take my business somewhere else and I don't appreciate you having wasted all my time. Instead of being a great purchasing experience, thanks to Abbey it's been the worst service ever! I received excellent service from Guthrie's. They replaced an outside lock and rekeyed the locks to use all the same key. Service was prompt and efficient. In May (5 months later) a piece in the lock broke and they replaced it for free two hours after I called. Joe was the service man both times and he is very professional and helpful.
