When I researched Dr. John Pellegrino, I learned that he is the #1 breast cancer doctor in N.J. Dr. Pellegrino successfully operated on me back in July 2021 and I am still with him today 12/16/22. Dr. John Pellegrino is not only my breast cancer doctor but my newfound best friend. Since my cancer operation I have endured a month of radiation, vertigo, kidney stones, melanoma and bladder infections. After getting each diagnosis I immediately contact Dr Pellegrino and inform him of my ailment. Dr. Pellegrino is a God Sent doctor. He holds my hand through each and every ailment and with his comforting words I am able to successfully recover. When I am lucky to leave a message, someone gets back to you, it's never the same day though so if you're suffering forget it , and when the office staff call and leave a message on your voicemail they just say to call back , so again you go thru the answering service from HELL . There are rare times I'm able to actually speak to someone who calls me back , usually I'm not able to pick up the phone bc my work is on the phone so there are times I can't pick up if they call but I leave a remark stating that you can leave me a message. Also they don't know what's going on, I left a message in the portal bc i figured let me try that route. I got a call back the same day which surprised me but they mentioned I left a message for a practice in PA. I told them I can't get thru to a human and they were nice enough to leave a message last Friday to the appropriate office to call me back. I got a call back yesterday finally after asking a question 2 wks ago and waiting for a response , the person that called her name is Danielle, then I get a call today from Toni , and told me the same answers that I heard yesterday- I said "don't you know what's going on in the office?? " No communication between co-workers!!? I told her she's repeating what was told to me yesterday, and I mentioned that I will find another Dr. and no longer follow up in this horrible disorganized office, oh and to mention one other thing this will probably get deleted by their corporate company but when I saw the Dr for my follow up we were discussing treatments and it was a little rushed the Dr explained my results and failed to mention one other issue she found on my dexa scan and she called me the next day to let me know I had to get another x-ray for another issue that was present and told me in the phone call, " sorry I forgot to mention this in the follow up " because I was the last patient on Friday and I guess everyone was in a hurry to leave. She's the only rheumatologist in the area that would take my mom's insurance so that's why my mom went to her. My mom got a blood test a week before her appointment. She arrived at her appointment and waited 90 MINUTES to see Sawsan, she finally saw her for her Prolia shot and the doctor said her blood work wasn't in so she couldn't give her the shot. My mom was obviously upset after waiting 90 minutes, paying a copay, and not even getting what she needed from the doctor. The Sawsan was so nasty when my mom said this and basically suggested that she go to another doc if she was unhappy. So basically she got her $$ for the visit and DIDN'T DO A DAMN THING. I called on Thursday and was seen in the office on Friday - my appt was during lunch (12:15) and they kept to that appt time, like trained professionals should. I saw the Nurse Practitioner (Larissa Lobato) for a full body skin cancer scan - she was extremely thorough, even had some blue ray light which could detect cancer cells. After she scanned my skin, she reviewed everything with me and even showed pictures of my moles she thought were suspect. She took samples of those spots to send to the lab. After the skin scan, I had other questions about my face and she was very patient and knowledgeble and took care and time with my questions. I am so relieved to have found this place.
