Neither of us eats very much anymore, and the platter was more than generous. We brought home well over half of it. The pulled chicken and brisket were okay, as was the mac and cheese. The smoked turkey, baked beans, and pulled pork were all on point. The burnt ends were great, but the ribs were easily the highlight. They appeared to be back ribs, but they were meaty, smoky, tender without being mushy, and had an excellent bark. The sauces were fine, although I would have liked a sharper Eastern Carolina-style vinegar sauce, or something really hot and spicy. The place is cute, this egg hater loved the egg ceiling art (I don't know to better describe it). She ordered a salad and I got the strawberry banana crepes with a side of hash browns with cheddar. We were both pleased with our meals and service was attentive. We were seated right next to the bakery case, so we got to see the lovely loaves they had. My cousin ended up going home with some carrot cake roll slices and a round of the sourdough. The menu has something for everyone and there's a nice patio for warmer weather. I can definitely see us going back.
