National Wing Day at Wing stop Friday July 29th 2022 First Impressions The outside appearance in front of the store was a mess, the rest of the strip mall was buzzing with lunch and business. The spaces in front of Wing stop were debris filled and empty, no cars. I was starting to get a feeling that I had potentially wasted my time. I walked in and the appearance was not neat, all the chairs were still upside down on the tables. The floors looked like they may have been swept, but not washed in a while. Although they had been open for an hour since their posted opening time, it didn't look like they were open too long. The seating area was dark. There was one other customer in the store sitting on a bench in front of the store. Employee attitude - Can I say the walking dead? No one acknowledged me or looked up until I said "Hello", the 1st employee was wearing white ear pods, when he acknowledged me I gave him the details of the order which I had placed on the Wing Stop App. He grabbed a paper receipt at the register and walked away with it. I guess it was my order. After a few minutes, not long at all, the employee with the ear pods gave me a bag with my order in it. I received the wings on the order, but the bag was very light, so I decided to check the accuracy. After checking the wings, I noticed that I didn't get the National Wing Day offer wings. So once again, I had to get the attention of an employee. This time, another employee, looked at me questioningly. I told her that I didn't National wing day portion of my order, I only had the wings I needed to fulfil the requirement to get the free wings. While this seems very simple, lemon pepper wings barely had any seasoning and they I didn't get my celery sticks in my bag. The fries could have been fried a minute or two longer, so that was disappointing because fresh-cut fries are usually the best. I got the Hawaiian wings and my boyfriend got the mild wings, we both got cheese fries and a sweet tea and a sprite. The Hawaiian wings were very tasteless. One word; DISAPPOINTED!!! Dear Wingstop, please get it together! The end... No seriously, so I was overly excited to hear of Wingstop coming to the D'ville area. Not that they're aren't othergood choices for wings in the city, but Wingstop's reputation precedes itself. Leading up to the opening several people {including myself} came by daily in anticipation of the opening and were told they were opening soon, but was never given a hard date. Fast forward a few weeks later and they're finally open. I decided I'd check them out during the week after work one day. As I enter the establishment several people are in line waiting to order, the phone constantly ringing, and the entire staff is in the kitchen talking and laughing. After 10 minuets someone came to the front to take the orders. After several orders were taken a customer who had been there previously returned to make a complaint regarding his order. In fact, several customers returned to complain about their orders. Mostly stating the wings were cooked too hard. This caused the young lady at the counter to stop taking orders and the other three staff members to come out of the kitchen to address these matters. Needless to say the next 20 minutes was filled with the worst customer service I've ever seen. The staff argued with the customers about their orders and went back and forth for an unimaginably amount of time. It was sad. Everyone was being told it would take 15-20 minuets for completion of their order. That turned into over 45-55 minutes. When I asked about my order, the manager asked for my name and promptly stated that they had my ticket and would get to my order when they could get to it. UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
