We were seated immediately at a table for four. My brother is a regular customer here, he has very high standards, so I knew we were in for a treat. Zambelli's was quite busy, but we received outstanding and quality service by Edna our server. The food was brought out in good time and Edna kept us smiling with her good natured mannerism and lighthearted humor. We had wine and our Mom enjoyed a Pina Colada, these refreshments complimented our meal. We shared perogies as a starter, I would have the perogies as a meal sometime. We also shared a serving of Caesar salad which was garlicky, with an appropriate ratio of dressing and croutons. I had spaghetti with meat sauce, the meat sauce was flavorful and spicy. Our Dad, Mom and Brother had the fish special with rice and chips. We shared two slices of cheese cake divided into four. All the portions were huge. There is enough for a second meal the next day. The restaurant is clean, decorated nicely, is spacious with good lighting. The bathroom is also clean. Thank you to Claude, Edna and Zambelli's in Leduc for the best experience and helping to make our parents anniversary special and memorable refreshments complimented our meal

The lasagna and chicken tenders were good but my fusilli was very bland and while hubby's chicken souvlaki was okay, the rice was cold and hard. We asked for a side of hot rice, which came piping hot, but as soon as it started to cool down, it too became hard and chewy. Out server was pleasant and it probably wasn't her fault for the appetizers coming out late. We came just before dinner and the restaurant was getting a little noisy by the time we left. We did not order dessert and we will not be back.

My server (Haleigh) also recommended the house lager which was so smooth and crisp. She brought me three different tasters but I had to agree with her on the house lager. Really nice. The ambiance is what you expect with a hotel restaurant, but not unpleasant. It had bright splashy colours and was more inviting than a lot of places of been to. Service was great. She was effecient and friendly. Basic menu with a different things for everyone. I smelled a spices wafting from another table and I inquired what it was. It was the special of the month Roghan Josh. Normally I would not order this in a hotel restaurant, but it smelled to good to be passed up. Hubby went with his standard burger and fries. We recieved a complementary taster of butter chicken on a taco. It was good and a fun added bonus. Food came out quickly and both where delicous. My husband was pleased with the amount of meat and flavour on his burger, and my Indian dish was as delicous as it smelled. Don't overlook this place :) We will be back!

I first tried California Pizza Kitchen in 2000 when I was there for my cousins wedding. I liked…read moretheir food then and nothing has changed. My favourite pizza is the California Club with the piles of arugula on top. My second favourite is probably the works. This location is kinda slow on the service. I've been here 3 times and every time the food took a while to come out. I feel like it's actually part of their business plan to encourage more drinks or appetizer sales. Just a theory though. Patio has roll up style garage doors for open air or closed seating perfect for the summer patio season. They can accommodate large parties as well.

The online ordering was easy but I do wish there was a way to order just a plain cheese adult pizza. You have to do a lot of modifications to get that done so a little bit of a hassle there. The kids actually ate their pizza which was nice. The truffle fries were pretty skinny so the flavor was okay. Service was good when I went to pick up the pizza. The pricing is a little much in my opinion for the quality based on other pizza restaurants. We don't often go to California pizza kitchen because it doesn't really wow us when we go and not sure we would go back anytime soon.

Fries are just your average mcain fries or something like that. No salt. I took it to go so I'm not sure if they offer salt or seasoning . No complaints really with the food. Decent food for a decent price. Their service though wasn't good. Guy who took my order seemed bored with my enquiry with the pizza slices. I then asked for a donair while waiting for the 2 minutes to be up on fresh slices. (It was more like 10 minutes.) He said the donair combo would take 15 minutes. Took just under half an hour. If I wasn't busy on the phone I probably would have asked for my money back at about 20 minutes since even 15 minutes to make a donair is pretty wierd to me.Maybe just a bad day or freak incident. I would go back for sure to see if it was better next time. Food is worth it. In my opinion.
